been using the fone for about a month now, what can i say, it's near perfect, except that it's a series 40 phone, not a series 60. now that is my main gripe, it's not a smarth phone!~

hi
well i own a nokia 6270 for around 15 days now but there i some help i need
actually i heard it somewhere that nokia 6270 provides full screen image as contact image when someone calls if we have attached a contact iamge on person or group's name
but when i used a contact image its comes in very small size why so?
is there any way to make it alright to have that pic in full screen

See that's the problem with nokia putting out too much phone.. which they cannot even make a perfect phone..
Well i don't know about competing with the D600.. I feel that people waited too long for this phone.. I mean cmon!! it was announced June 2005.. It came out Dec 2005.. 6 months of teasing..
And yeah.. They keep on launching new phones, and nothing is coming out of the store..
Im just glad it came out already.. Errors can be fix.. nobody is perfect! so errors are understandable.. I mean not all have it.
So there you go!!

My only question is: has anybody tried connecting Bluetooth headphones to this?
I want to use my phone as my mp3 player when I go to the gym, but want to leave it in my gym bag, rather than carry it around with me at all times.
Does anyone know if the Logitech or Toshiba wireless BT headphones are compatible with the media player on the 6270??? I know the Toshiba specs say that it will only work with Windows Media apps, but I was wondering if any other brands worked. Let me know, cuz I want to set myself up wirelessly to hit the weight room and treadmill. Thanks,

Nokia have rushed this phone out trying to compete with the samsung D600 an have not checked the phone properly an it seems everyone is finding faults an they should recall them an get them rechecked even O2 online have stopped selling it my mate had 2 different handsets an they both had to be sent back Nokia better not do the same with the 6280 out soon so get the checked please

I have been sales tlked into this model as it seems to meet my demands if you find anything misleading pl do let me know:-
1)Excellent photgraphs
2) Easily transferable to my computer through bluetooth,infrared,
3) Makes good movies upto 1-2 hrs
4) The zoom is excellent
5) 3 D speakers
6) FM Radio plays well with no strain on
battery
7)Plays MP3 very well with no battery
strain!!
8)The Flash light is effective
9) One can see the caller on the screen clearly
10)Records voice/video conversations
11) Charges well with a car lighter adapter
12)Handsfree is effective(but is it need with blue tooth?)
13) The planner is effective
The only feature missing is perhaps a torch light to help while camping in wilderness.

Let me answer your question.. well as far as i know the latest firmware update is already out.. according to my sources in HOFO..
1st i didn't believe it.. I told them to prove it and take some pix of the phone screen showing the firmware.. and i couldn't believe myself.. it is already out!
People had called Nokia and told me its not out yet.. I don't know about that..
The best thing to do is.. try emailing Nokia Europe.. They should know more about it.
And yeah try going to Greenhills.. You know how that place is.. everything is there..
So hows Makati mann? Im goin there on April..

Hi guys
Remember I posted my problem with Nokia 6270 (auto reboot) few days ago?
The phone now is back to Nokia for motherboard replacement.
But the dissapointed part is Nokia Malaysia already took close to 7 days and yet status that I get is phone still under repair and nobody can give estimates when will it be ready.
I've contacted Nokia Careline but nothing positive so far.
Service center keep saying waiting for parts from Nokia and Nokia is giving excuse to me they will check with Service center and get back to me.
The phone spent 50% of his 1st months of ownership in Service Center now.
Will update once I got it back.
