To Amanadia:
Your not the only one! My phone also has a gap when opened which does make a very annoying wiggling effect...i thought it was broken at first, but it seems its made like that.
As for the vibrating alert, i confirm that its quite different to other phones, it does make a weird buzzing sound, however it doesnt bother me at all...
For those of you looking for feedback on this mobile, dont let these small issues put you off, this is a fantastic phone!

So you have the same hissing sound too then?
I came to the conclusion that its not a defect but a result of an overly powerful/sensitive speaker...it is annoying though. Top notch phone otherwise!
Does anybody else have this hissing sound problem (when you make or receive calls)?

hi
regarding the white screen problem
its just the case with the wallpaper
dont use large size wallpapers and it wont happen and if white screen does appear dont be afraid just press the joystick and go to gallery and change the wallpaper and everything will be fine

I just bought this phone 2 days ago and think it's one of the best phones I've ever had. I've noticed 2 annoying things and wanted to know if it's just my phone.
1. When the phone is open (I have opened the slider) there is a gap between the two pieces and it wiggles.
2. the vibrating alert is not like any other phone I've had and it makes a wierd noise.
Other than these two problems this phone has the best features I've ever seen.
Let me know if it's just my phone...thanx

hi everyone
this phone is great so far no problems or errors i m happy with my phone
just one thing i want to know is how to forward the picture msgs in this phone
i m not talking about multimedia messages only the small black n white picture messages
as there is no option to forward them like the text msgs

want to ask .. about this phone ...
the ringtone ,.....
i set my phone ringtone max ..
but when a call come. .. it start the low sound then after 3 second the ringing tone become higher cound ...
is u guys phone also like that ?

I do not undestand your problem of using the 6270 phone? Everything works very well and it's great. Please, read manuals and use Nokia's web sites and after that you have all settings and tools to get this phone working. Stereo sound is beautiful without earphones and with... Only battery may last longer, perhaps after few charging.

Mac, if you have money, then the 6270 absolutely!
I read this somewhere earlier but i am in a hurry so cant search now (sorry), so I´ll just sak: Which resolution do you have to use to get the photo of the person ringing to be in a bigger size than the "stamp" size when I use 1600/1200. Thanks for your patience!

This is a fantastic phone! It has so many features, a large, bright screen, STEREO earphones, lovely animated menus, cool themes, and takes nice photos too (2MP). There are lots of bells and whistles to keep you happy! I am very happy with it, it gets a 8.5 out of 10 from me!
The only negative things worth mentioning:
1. the sliding mecanism gives a flimsy feel to the keypad.
2. the battery charger does not have the standard nokia jack, however a converter is included to make it backwards compatible.
3. there is a constant but low hissing sound when i make or receive calls, has anyone else had this problem? I fear its a defect on my phone...

stop fullishing ... how can you complane of this phone ?? it is really grate . why do you need simbian ?? you have an extraordinary camera , the sound seems like an ipod , the design is greate ... please stop complain ..

its really sad that there very little s/w's awailable 4 the 6270....as it runs on java
n e ideas where i can get them?? also is there n e way of transferring java games through the usb from my PC ??(as there is only 3d snake awailable)
also does it support .wav,.wma,real audio and other formats, or is there n e s/w awailable 2 convert them 2 mp3 for the phone?
official site says there is-Over-the-air download of Java™-based applications and games-wat is this...plzzz explain
i m a music buff so should i consider this or the N-3250 ??
Otherwise i know this is one Gr8 phone...
in india i m gettin dis for around 18000 Rupess i.e about $410

is the nokia6270 support symbian OS ......how can i view ms application like word excel ppt on my phone ......because i downloaded this application from one site ...the file name is tool.sis but my phone gave me the error as ......file format not supported......whats the reason....how can i read such applications from my phone

this for keane:
you can create a playlist through the "transfer music" option of the pc suite. once you're in the program, double click anywhere on the upper part of the window and click on "add". type in the name and of the playlist. now you have to transfer that to the phone. what you do is to click on the playlist name you just created and click "transfer to phone". you'll notice in the bottom part of the window a folder under the C: directory that's named playlist. click on that and the playlist you just transferred should be there. now right click on the playlist name and choose "add". a window with all the music files contained in your phone will appear. you just got to choose the songs there that you want included in the playlist. Voilà you now have a playlist.
