crmode , i`ve experienced this two times .. but when i`ve made firmare up date at 3.65 , i`ve never transfered more then the free internal memory ..
And the internal memory it`s all about 7.50 MB , and it depends a lot of the theme size ( the larger is the theme , you`ve got less free space )

Someone told me that if u have 3.65 and receive files larger then the internal memory , it says that it will be saved in the card GOOD JOB NOKIA :)

    hey mike, ur now in nokia 6280's forum complaining abt how screwed up nokia 6270 & 7370 is...that was a nice one...keep it up...

      Hi,

      I've posted something similair earlier. I had and still have problems receiving data (mp3-files) via bluetooth (i haven't tried via infrared). My problem occured when the data is transmitted from a samsung phone, but not with all samsungs. For example i received a mp3 file of 10+ mb without any problem from a D600, but a mp3 file of +/- 5 mb from a D500 is a real problem, the samsung quits transmitting after about 71%. Pics, movies and all other stuff is no problem, only mp-3 files. So i don't think the problem is nokia, but the other manufacturers. Perhaps something with the config of the phones mentioned earlier.
      Did you also receive photo's via mms and did your phone recognize it as a movie file, mine did, very weird...

        elo sirs!

        is it true that the nokia 6280 cant recieve data via bluetooth of infrared thatis bigger than the internal memory of the phone(10mb)?

            Hi Everybody,
            I wanna tell you that I bought this mobile last week. It's wonderful, I'm really glad of it and if you are thinking in to buy or not to buy, don't waste your time, BUY IT. But I'm also want to tell you the defects:
            - If you are wondering if it is symbian: NO
            - Only play MP3, no wma nor other formats
            - It rattles when vibration is Activated
            I think this is the most important, but really is a good mobile, screen, sound, size, look...

              Hi guy's just reading a few comments about this phone it's quite funny i went through 3 handsets before i got a good phone like tsomeone said it's very buggy.I,m currently waiting for a software upgrade cause even though the phone works it still has problems.As for when Orange will release the phone they probably won't as in Australia Telstra is not releasing it due to all the faults they encounted during testing.In regards to the person who was wondering about the memory card i bought a 1gb Kingston card from ebay and it works great if you can find a 2gb it would be even better

                this phone is way too buggy.. i just dont understand why nokia keep releasing phones that have so many bugs, maybe they should slow down the processing a bit and just release a few quality handsets each quarter rather than 20 buggy ones.

                  TOTAL GARBAGE PHONE!!!!
                  BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                  Don't believe phony reviews of this phone by people who never held the phone. I personally went to the largest GSM phone store today to check 6270 and 7370 models.
                  Both phones, to my big dissapointment are not performing well as phones!!!!!

                  ABOUT THIS 6270 PHONE:
                  -Dialing and the menu is slow as hell!!!!
                  -You no longer can change rediculous desktop style menu into normal list order!!!
                  -The so-called 3d stereo sound is very quiet and on top of that the phone got only 15 crappy ringers ( if you can call it ringers)
                  -There is no even normal ring-ring sound!!!!

                  EVERYTHING ELSE , I DON'T CARE (multimedia, camera and other crap will not make this model a phone!)

                  NOKIA: You used to be the only normal phone manufacturer in the United States. By now, I definitely know you have catched the Fashion, Stupidity and Sony disease!
                  What a shame that we no longer will have normal phones, but only multimedia garbage!

                    Vodaclone ,i`ve bought the phone 3 weeks ago , and the slide it`s ok ;) the software was a problem , but it`s solved now with the 3.65 software :P

                      Very poor handset...various software issues and the build quality of a tic tac box...the slide will break afeter about 3 days...avoid at all cost!!!!!What is happening to nokias???

                        Hi

                        Can anyone please tell me is this phone ever coming out on orange!!?? what is the hold up its getting ridiculous and yes i have asked them several times but never get a staright or reliable answer. please post if you know anything cos i really want this phone!! they have even released the N80 ahead of it which came out aboiut six months later!

                            BTW .. the MMC cards are very very big ..

                            And a miniSD here (romania it`s about 35 euros - the cheapest)

                              Man .. MMC means "multi media card" , and of course the phone supports a multi media card , but not any multi media card .. just the miniSD ( and i`ve heard that trans flash too)
                              I`ve got a 512 MB miniSD and works very good .. at 1 GB i think you`ll have a bit lag .. my opinion :P

                                I already asked in a shop for info about this Mini Secure Digital memory and they tell that the memorys that are compatible with mobile phones are "MMC"

                                And this causes me doubts, but I think that the "Mini secure digital transcend 1gb" is suitable for this mobile and in this shop only cost 28 Euros. What are the prices for 1 gb memory that you have buy?

                                      i love this phone, the camera is great,
