i got 3GP video converter as well but if only it can only convert 2 mins each video lei, cuz its a trial version...tts e disadvantage, anyway got a 1 to 1 exchange today with s***tel cuz my 6280 simply no reception today, anyway it states tt 6280 supports MPEG4 for video, but when i watch a naruto anime episode which is converted to MPEG4, my phone auto restarts...so begin to wonder whether it's able to support...my fren's just crashed his after playing games installed from 3rd party gamesite...

Hi Chelunz,
Forgot one more thing, For ur profile being set back to default when u removed ur Mini -SD is due to the fact that its either 1) Wallpaper, 2) Screensaver, 3) Tones that u use for the profile is being saved or taken from the Mini-SD thus causing the phone to set back to original settings as it couldnt 'find' the data.

Hi Chelunz,
If it does work,it means dat ur phone is in working condition. If you were to take note; each profile had numerous customisation such as whether to have it vibes in this profile & not vibe on other profile.
One possible cause for ur phone not to vibes when its being charge: If you notice, even in charging mode it lets you decide to have either this specific profile to be activate or any profile will do.
E.g 1: if u on Silent mode,the phone will charge in Silent Mode.But if u specify Vibrate Mode to be used in charging,from Silent Mode the phone will auto switch to Vibrate Mode till u finish charging & removed the pin off the phone before going back to Silent Mode :)
Try it..its interesting.
To All those who own this phone:
Please try to get upgrade software (ver3.65) at Nokia Service Centre as it Fixed bugs like the Negative mode capture,Spell to be saved in dictionary and mebe more cos so far mine had this problem before & now its fixed. Those who had upgraded its software & discover other bugs that wasnt mentioned here had been fixed,PLEASE POST HERE SO THAT EVRY1 CAN SHARE just like what ive been doing!! Thank you to those who had contribute too.

Too bad about the dust under the screen , and for the second camera (3g one) is just for telephony only :(

There is a big problem with my 6280. sent it back for the 3rd time already. Problems are auto-restarts when playing music, no call network at times until i restart the phone manually. its quite irritating when i don't receive any smses or calls for some time out of no reason for long periods of time. This phone is still bugged despite the latest firmware and a replacement of motherboard.

BTW, does anyone know how to FF/Rewind video on this phone or is there any java app that i can do that?

yup Suhaimi. just tried and is able to work, thanks, hee...but a strange thing, my phone seem not be vibrating if there's a call or sms during charging but when its not, it's working perfectly alrite, just wonder if this's normal, vibration's a lil' weak...and it seem tt each time i pulls out e miniSD card, my profiles will reset to e default settings, making it a bit more troublesome, currently lookin' for software to convert any video formats to MPEG4...

it has some good themes and other stuff... one good application is called SAFE, which replaces the missing WALLET in this nokia phone... Cheers again :)

To Rian... Well, i noticed the negative thingy too, but try taking a picture in negative shooting a long distance, lets say 3 meters away, that worked for me, and the image saved in negative, i think shooting pictures in negative for short distances has a fault, so try a longer distance... Cheers

Another Fault which has just started happening with my phone and a few of my friends phones is that when u take a photo in NEGATIVE it doesnt save the photo in negative but it switches it back to normal and saves it.
not that i have a great use for nagative photo's however its something that is quite annoying.
i work for vodafone and im starting to have trouble recommending this handset to customers as a HOT PHONE as i dont want so many customers bringing the handset back with faults.
Im taking Mine and one of my co-workers handsets to a nokia care centre on monday to get upgraded to the new firmware. Lets hope this fixes the problems, however getting every customer to do this is going to be a big problem.
