Seems like a decent enought phone. Very good calendar and organiser options. My only worry is that i have had the phone for only two months now but there is already a huge buildup of dust behind the screen. Anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this?

just bought e phone, pictures, video and music are clear n loud!! a very gd phone but!!!!!! i'm just too unlucky to get a set that doesnt vibrate after all e settings habs been done...omg...

I am a member of Club Nokia so i complained to the Nokia company saying i have had faults with my 6280 (so many) & i changed 3 handsets so far but still the same problems.
So i said to Nokia i am paying on contract a resanoble price for the Nokia 6280, i might aswell be better off with a crap phone that will not have faults all the time. & i wish to change my phone for a similiar phone e.g. Nokia 6233. But the Network Operator (3) says you singed contract so therefore you can not cancel your contract. So i said to them have phones without faults then i would stay on contract for 12 months but they make so much hype it unbelivable..
Waiting for reply from Nokia see what they say...:)

Who ever is planning to buy a 2 GB memory card go ahead. it will work but needs to be formatted in FAT or FAT16 on a Windows operating system coz on the phone it will not format a 2GB card.

Hi JonP,
Mp3 to phone is merely via bluetooth,infrared & usb cable thats provided. Not necessary to use the PC Suite..wake me if you need more help :) (its raining here in Spore).
To Unknown;
1) Whos fault is really not our concern (too much paperworks between those two),look at the bright side.U'll be getting a more advance phone in ur region than this. Cheers!
2) Im on 1gb and its fine.Saw some1 here at 2gb..

with the n72 and 2 other phones announced this week with delivery in a couple of months, it looks like there is little point in orange actually getting this phone out to market.
nokias fault? or the network operators own software?

Nokia had came out wit a upgraded PC Suite for N6280,auto-download and installed to my pc this morning before going to work so had no idea whether its just some bugs got fixed or additions to features.

Ver3.65 is already out in Spore, u mite wan to have ur n6280 software upgraded :)
To Vinilaa,
The phone has the capability to;
1- show todays appointment or note made today itself. However if you wish to look at the upcoming event you are able to do so on the active standby screen itself by scrolling left or right to look at the day before or upcoming ones.
It will look like PDA today's plugin & advantage over PDA is that u can turn it off/on by few tap of the buttons.

I'm opting for a refund after changing several sets of Nokia 6280 within a month. For those who are wanting to buy this Set. Do consider seriously! I'm glad my nightmare is over!

My 6280 is version 3.60 from Singapore.
I've tried trasfering files with infrared & bluetooth so far no prob.
I haven't tried USB cable yet.

No, 6280 isn't a smartfone. But its 'ORGANISER' functions r 1 of the best. No, it doesn't display ur appt on stand-by mode. But once u set ur appt alarm time, it will alert u even if ur 6280 is switched off. I'd say Nokia offers 1 of the best ORGANISER features.

Hey all, ive had this phone since feb and all is fine until now. it seems each time i go to make a call (with signal) it says Error in Connection. it wont let me do anything until i switch the phone off and back on again-any ideas??? as its really annoying.
also, is anyone having the prob changing from one mode ie silent to General, as my phone always freezes and goes black and then goes back to silent!!!
