For years I have always said nokia make the best mobile phones. Over the last couple of years they have been a bit behind and i was. I was all but changed to Motorola lover with the sexy V3 and the Peble. But then i was luckly enough to use the Nokia 6280. Someone i know has got one on 3 as an upgrade which is the only way to get one at the moment. It has to be the best phone i have ever seen and used. Everything is perfect not to big, but then not to small, it is sleek and sexy. The photo quality and video is the best i have seen on a mobile and the screen is so bright a clear. All i can say is wait buy one and love it. I will not rest till i get one.

This is a very nice phone. I went into the 3 shop in Kensington, London here in chilly England. [+] Positives: Looks and feels FAR nicer than you can tell from the pictures online. Silky smooth slide mechanism. (Think D500, but nicer). Lovely folded shape, not visible from pictures. D-Pad large and much easier to use than on N70 etc. Wonderful bright large screen. Multi-day alarms (finally!). Very refined interface, far more logical and 'fun' than N70. This really is the ultimate social phone. [-] Negatives: Camera not protected by slider and easy to cover with fingers. That said, camera is designed (like SE K750) to be operated with phone at a 90 degree angle. Summary: Probably the nicest mobile phone ever introduced so far. And when you hold one, you will probably agree. Bodes well for the N80! All said, I am in business, and plan to buy an SE P990, but would love the 6280 just because it's so sweet. OK, back to work.

Whats the difference of Nokia 6280 an Nokia 6270 ? only 3G ?

Wait for 2 or 3 weeks more ??? is it worth it ??? this phone's battery won't last more than 2 days ! I've been waiting for 7-8 months and i'm glad i changed my mind cause this phone bettery life is too short and trust me.. sound quality ain't as good as n6230i's one.. I've heard n6111 playing mp3 and sound quality its kinda fake.. so I dont expect n6280 will sound any better.. You want real good sound quality ? get a nokia with stereo speakers !!! Nokia 6233 is the best !!! stereo speakers and long lasting battery !!!

The Nokia 6280 will be out here in Portugal nest week. I confirmed this with two sources (PhoneHouse and Ensitel). Be patient because its arriving the time to catch one. Hehehe!

Oh My DayZ!!!!
I have been waiting for this fone 4 like ages!!!! It seems perfect for me(or so I think) as i want to dump my now worthless Nokia 6100(which had 2 have an attachable camera which woz Rubbish) ;P The only thing I'm not feeling is the black keypad- I think a silver 1 would have been sleeker. The Carphone Warehouse has been advertising this fone since NOVEMBER-& when you call up 2 see if anyone's got a clue-dey don't-the advisors in store are also clueless-why such a commotion?!?
I keep getting told early jan-den dat changed 2 mid-january-and now im hearing end of jan-early Feb. Nokia is it all worth it?
Im really thinking of going 4 the Nokia 6111/N70 as im running out of patience! Any advice ppl?

the fon is comming at mid or end of january, tat means they aiming for chinese new year festival period wat..bcoz euro country already came..asia more chinese as well. my god.. fast fast..im waiting for u n6280^^

Spoke to vodafone today, they say should be in the shops in the next few weeks and to check every tuesday.

Have to spoke to the 3 network (UK) and they have some availabe to existing 3 customers, I think this is the only way of getting one in the UK so far. I'm gonna wait for the Nokia N80 anyway, looks much better

Hi all,
Does anyone know if this phone (Nokia 6280) is going to be compatable with future satellite navigation software (Tomtom Route 66 etc)...
That is all that is holding me back from getting this phone!!!

I asked in Nokia in Poland. They said that they don't have any information about date of shipment and I should ask after 15th od January :(((

great phone! it has so many great features in rolled into a super-silder.
when i first held the nokia 6280 in my hand i found it quite big. this phone would have evrything if it had the capability to output videos and pictures onto a tv like the D600.
this mobile has been advertised in the carphone warehouse booklet in november at £299 and and this month it has further advertisement in the carphone warehouse december sale, price has also been cut down to £249. however my main concern is that when i tried purchasing the nokia 6280 they keep repeating there has been not even been one nokia 6280 shipped to the country.
when will they finally arrive to the UK?
Is there anywhere else you can buy this phone cheaper on 02 or Sim-Free than £250?

Hello. I have talk with nokia today and they said me that in january will be in the shops 2 mobil phones... (at least) one in the middle of january and other in the end of january .. and they said me that that phones will be the Nokia 6280 and Nokia N91
i dont know who will be the first of both... as they said one in the middle of january and other in the end of january... but with 99% of posibilities they said will be in shops in january

can anyone tell me izzit the fon sliding up and down will as smooth as the samsung d800 or others? it seems like heavy and not tat long lasting stuf ^^
