Help!, cant turn off the phone!.. any solution?

Just a couple questions...
1. Is there really any major differences between the 6280 and 6288? Which is better?
2. Would i have problems with reception/overall usability on the 6280 or 6288 in the US since it's TriBand? Would i also be able to use it in Germany and Italy?

The 6288 by far exceeds the n80. the n80 has a weak spring in its slide and because the piece that slides up is so heavy. its as though there is no spring at all.. go the 6288 definatly

hey. well this phone does not have as many as issues as the 6280 - it looks better, it is a slider, u can get it in gloss black or white which look better then the 6280s look. I would reccomend making that upgrade. u are right there is not a whole difference between the 6280 and 6288 but that is a good thing for u though isnt it because u already no how the phone works.
make the upgrade
p.s: the only other two half worth while sliders is 5300(and that is not an option, i have one, boy it is annoying. the only other is E65 and that is a busines phone. if u chose the 6280 the first time i dont think it would be such a good idea to go the E65 over the 6288

i think this fone is not that great....it is not symbian so u cant download themes etc. but i love this fone because of its elegant look..yeah

iv been offered this nokia 6288 on an upgrade on a great deal,is it any good??? own a nokia 6280 at the mo,not alot of difference between the two if you ask me but has the 6288 had alot of problemo's with the software like the 6280 had when that first came out???if so,any ideas wot other nokias are 'top notch'? GOT TO BE A SLIDER THO!

I have 2 phones in my mind 6288 & n80, which is better? forget the wifi. & inetrnal memory i knw that 6288 operates faster than n80.
peploe say that n80 has a sliding problem which people refuse to buy is this true? is there are any sliding prob with 6288?
which is the best phone?

I love this phone very much, But some time i m facing some problm like phone gets hang so many time while i m listning songs or watich some clips......Otherwise this is my favourat phone ever........

this phone is good but the sliding is horriblr.it becomes loose after a while.i dont think it will last too long in terms of its physic.its a bit too sensative.i am really worried its gonna be broken once i drop it

This fone is working so smoooth for me sometimes i think opinion expressed on the nokia 6288 is simply unfounded.I have had this fone for 2 mnths with absolutely no problem.The picture quality is dazzling.
6288 users would bear me out.My friends just like it.To the best of my knowledge, If u intend buying this fone ,just go for it.
Make sure u buy from a geniune dealer!Thats all

I think this phone is a good phone. Before i use this phone, I had use N70. After comparing the picture quality of both phones with my friend, I saw that 6288 has a better quality picture compare with N70. Because of that I change my phone to 6288. I think this phone just only lack in software. Another features are absolutely at ok.

i m facing a problem on 6288
i need almost 15 minutes to start up the phone
n now even cant start up liao
it only show the batterry life but nothing else
HELP..
i have very important contacts inside la..

N70 has more processing power compared with 6288 that's why it may have looked better.

I've compared the picture of this phone to my wife's N70 and sad to say that the N70 has better picture in terms of clarity and color. The reason is probably with the way the flash works so that's why N70 has much better picture output. With regards to battery, it lasted normally for about 3 days with 15mins voice, around 30sms, 30mins games, 3mins web browsing, and 30mins mp3. If your battery lasted for only one day, there must be something wrong with your battery or the way you use your phone.

In my opinion,Nokia 6288 good looking than Nokia 6120 but if compare theirs functions,Nokia 6120 will better than 6288.

i was about to buy this phone on good recommendation, but once in the shop i tried it out and i couldn't use the number pad to type messages. the bottom of the slider is right above the 1,2,3 so there's no room to actually press the numbers. (i'm a side of the thumb typer). i'm not a fan of the two level texting funtions (the number pad and the higher menu buttons). it's a shame cos its a good lookin phone!
