Started from yesterday was my first time to post my opinion. I just read your opinion, I just let you know my opinion, decision be determined by yourself. I not agree you buy W850 because the shortcoming for that phone is easily go blank screen when you switch on the phone or suddenly go blank screen although you never drop or knock but it will happen it self, maybe is screen problem or something connection damaged. I never hear about shortcoming for Nokia 5300, just for some people who careless dropped the phone or any an incident cause broke the screen that’s all. I also suggest you buy a crystal case to protect your phone. ^_^

u know wat i also wanted to have a 6300 so bad before because of its physical appearance.. small, stylish and handy.. but i think stores here in the phils only sell 6300 with 128MB max, some only has 64MB.. i never saw a 6300 with 256MB or more.. but honestly speaking 6288 takes better pics.. what i dont understand is they are both 2mp camera but if you put their pics side by side 6288 has better pics.. even if you transfer it to ur pc image quality of 6300 doesnt improve.. my brother has 6300 so i know very much between these 2 fones u are considering.. =)

I have bought this phone today and lookng forward for a good result as i trust Nokia a lot and wanted to stick to Nokia itself.

Don't buy from e-buy-global.com !
It's strange that they got mobile phones 70% cheaper, e.g. 8600 Luna - $150. It's that odd, that it doesn't even cover production expenses...
So, my advice: don't even write to them. They aren't really from Italy! Their host is somewhere in Israel! It might aswell be some kid playing around behind his PC, and getting his money off our backs.
When I asked for their company's registration number, business rate, or something like that, the director replied to me they haven't got it for anybody. 'Cause that's something that has to be made public, so anyone may verify it.

Hi all, I had this phone around 2 weeks now. I switched from Motorola E398 to nokia after 3 years.. it is such a nice memories to use my new nokia coz it reminds me my first very old nokia ;). ok back to my opinion, this nokia 6288 is rocks my socks! nice big screen easy to use - user friendly!
Downside - battery last only one day :(
poor sliding and getting loose after while. check your phone before you buy coz i bought mine from display however sales guy said it is normal for 6288 so am bit satisfied. camera & video is sucks. who cares if you want camera go and buy the digital camera heeheh c ya all

this fone(6288) is the worst fone i have had so far. i had w850 before this and s700i bre w850... 6288 has the worst software comparitively... honestly spekin, afart from looks and the slide function,this has has nohing to be proud of.the speaker is v bad and the the music player is the worst i have eva seen.i really regret buying this fone and selling w850.oh n the worst thing is, the battry dosent last more than a day. comaritively w850 lasts about 4 days min for the amout i use my fone.

I'm now choosing between this and the 6300!
I like the 6300:
-It's small, solid, no movin parts.
-but...no 3G (im not relaly sure if i have to wory about that now)
-How big is the included memory?
What do you think?

I using this phone now... but honestly speaking 5300 is better than this phone if you dont use the 3g function frequently. my friend's w850 is nicer to use than mine n im kind of jealous now.. i should get 5300 or w850 sob..

i just hate about this phone is its software
when you open the media player you have to navigate yourself to where the videos are located and same with the music player. what's more is that the Apps. menu icon is useless since you can also open applications and games in media player or gallery! that part of the phone really sucks, its like it wasn't given that much thought. and the folder in the phone memory are really useless since you can't store any to them bec of the low phone memory! they should have copied the SE software for non-smart phones and integrated it to nokia non-smart phones! its really annoying since i really love this phone and want it to have a better software! Y___Y

had this fone for a week now......all i can say is that it KICKS ASS!!!....camera an video are good.....sound is good........its d perfect mobile for me

Got this phone today at Greenhills, 12.5k with 1-year Nokia warranty, white. Though, they're selling the 10.5k without the warranty and with a "3" logo in front, settled with the warranty. Built quality is fine. Best if it this is a bar type. Keypad are good, though, I have big fingers, I can still reach the 1-3 buttons. Sound is good. It's like a N6233 without the other speaker. Themes are great. Not difficult to install games or apps but limited to only 1MB file sizes, what the heck... Can play videos more than 200MB file sizes. Can do video calls considering you have a 3G signal. Camera is good. Almost the same as N70's 2MP, I think both are CMOS, no carl zeiss but will do the job. Anything I forgot?..... Drop me a note.... Ciao! For now....

i am using this mobile for abt half a year and to me this mobile is one of the best ones i do not kno why people are having problem with this phone but belive me please please buy this mobile one would be in comfort...

i bought it for Php14,500 in Parksquare last April.. 512MB and with 1yr warranty.. original din yung battery, coz i checked at Nokia website i entered the serial number and it was authentic..
