The phone can only use the main camera for taking pictures. The front is used for video calls only, and can't be used for capturing pictures.

An Excellent device! I got my 6288 in March. I have been using PDA phones like the TREO but this small device is really great both for the look, the price as well as the functionality. By way of a phone, the sound is clear whether on head set or loudspeaker whilst as a radio /music box - the sound is excellent on the head set whilst quite good on loudspeaker. The Camera gives excellent quality maybe because its a 2MP. Internet browsing is a snap. All in all an excellent phone for the price!

The Fone isn`t to thick, its same as n70 soundwise. Just a good all round fone, available for £120 on 3 network.

hey, i wana ask something. Nokia 6280 and nokia 6288, which one better? Appreciate it alot, i'm concern about the memory card capacity, whether it will bring it a lag. And the sound quality. thanks

got this fone week ago.so far, not much to complaints,much better than my old 3230, faster, brighter and larger screen.but lil' bit dissapointed in the camera,it looks like the pic quality is worse than 3230 (much noise) on the same lighting condition,except the resolution much better (2mp).the glossy finish looks beautifull,but leave a lot of fingerprints :) and it already have a little dust inside the screen (but got info from youtube how to open the front casing).also, the ringtones always back to default when applying new theme.so far, just have 2 or 3 times self-restarting :( but no problem,3230 much worse than this he2
anyway, IT'S A GOOD PHONE for the price :)

fred; vga is 640x480 yes this fone has the same video quality as the n95 though of course n95 has smoother more fluid video motion as it records in twice the speed (30 fps)but in terms of video quality as in its clarity both the n95 and the 6288/6280/6233 are of the same level
hehe you can search for video samples at youtube
for comparison
in my opinion 15fps is already fine and dandy as long as you dont wiggle the recorder much heheheheh

Hello everyone!
Does anyone know how or where can I find a document/pdf reader software for my 6288? I tried several small apps found on the internet but they are almost useless!! Please help me and tell me where can I find such apps!!!
