maybe problem lies in the 1st couple of charge. when u buy a brand new phone, the 1st 2-3 charges are important...rumour or something

my battery only lasted 4 24 hrs!!argh!! i h8 it.. do u think its just that mu battery pack is broken or wat??

This is good phone . I Think 6288 is not common phone. this phone is very user frendly

i think it wasn't nokia's fault but i guess the phone was defective in the first place and was just waiting for the right time to totally breakdown ^_^

how do i use the light as a torch??? very annoying when recording videos in the dark!!

I bought the phone on the Internet and liked it very much. After about 6 months, I charged it overnight, I used it once, and then it died. It had a strong burned odor and I was told the phone needed a new board. I have not been able to find someone to repair it. I am disappointed in Nokia as I have had several of their phones in the past and they were all great.

6288 doesn't have a realplayer but it has its own media player for videos and the likes

thanx anne, but it stinks you cant use the light as a torch (its not even that bright) and u cant use the front cam for taking pictures, other than thats awesome phone

To the person who wants to buy one... Your best bet is a shop called computer exchange, picked up one yesterday for 115 brand new, that's on 3 though, probably more expensive on o2.

The front camera is for video call only and the flash can't be used as torch/flash light.

I've been using a 4gb memory. It was working fine for 2 days. Then the memory got messed up, and it doesn't work anymore. Was it the phone couldn't read a 4gb memory? or the memory i bought from ebay a bootlegged? Plus, i formatted the memory many times, it still didn't work. Anybody knows if the phone can support a 4gb? thanks

fred: it has a stereo fm radio (without rds). also the resolution of the video is vga.

hey, i went on a web site to check the price of this phone and they sayin that it doesn't have a radio. is that true? and i forgot to ask earlier, how much does it zoom? and what resulotion does video record in?
