this phone sells only in Europe,ASian,Africa, but not USA. I live in USA, the features like PTT,Video calls, are useless over here. The firmware is designed for UK and HK used only. That's why the dictionary is in english-Chinese only. The speaker sounds very good and clear with treble and bass balanced. The loudness is average. The 2MP camera takes average picture quality, yet it can't compared to my old phone sony k750i. The video can support up to a resolution 640x480. Video recordings is one of the best out there. The bad is that the flash cannot set as a torch!Mp3 player sounds very good(about the same with sony phones)With a better headset would sound better than good. You can not save anything! to the phone memory. EVerything has to be saved in the memory card, which i have is a 4GB:). MiniSD is very cheap, get a 4gb if you need more space. The dispaly is big and crystal clear.

it's so nice.. sound system is soft, for every contact no. in my handphone can set to different tone... it is cool..

ok, about the speaker not bein stereo. but the sound quality's still really great though...right? and what size does the kideo record in? 176*220 or bigger?

the battery is great ... it lasts me about 5 days with music player ... but don't forget to turn off the 3G (Menu-settings-Phone-Network GSM insetad of DUAL MODE) , and the bluettoth ... becuase they suck your battery dry

I read from other websites that the screen cracks easily, sometimes it happens without their knowledge... Does this really happen?

try updating your phone using the data cable bundled with it! just visit nokia.com and look for software update! new software update is out now! Its seriously safe and very easy!

if you'll actually compare the n80's sliding mechanism with this one, 6288 does the job better since it slides smoothly though a bit much, unlike the n80 that you need to really put some effort into it
you can also download themes that can change the whole look of the phone inclufing the menu icons! and there are also a lot of games that really "abuses" the phones screen and would just make you WOW! hehehe

Great phone, love the features etc. Battery life however is poor at best. Without using the media player, bluetooth or any other high power functions I'm having to charge the phone every 3 days.

to Fred,
The light cannot used as a torch. I am very disappointed in this feature too. the front camera can only be used for video call only.
