it's nice just the same as my N6280...!!!! I got mine with a 1 GB mini sd.. it was really awesome..

Man ... so Nokia ... you rule ... you make the best phones ever ! :D ... So a little bit abou the 6288 ... It is a very nice phone ( like all nokia phones) ... it has a very good 2mp camera .. and the flash is insane (very powerful) ... the screen is big and sexy , the 512 mb carg that i got with the phone is great ... It slides without problems, no problem so far ... The internet is very fast (due to 3g and EDGE) ... I gave it 10/10/10 ...The only problem is that the speaker isn't so loud , but some fine-tuning in the equalizer and i works perfect ... If you need more ,just e-mail me ... Give it 10/10/10 ... it's just an awesome phone ;):> :D

this sucks first time i bot a nokia firstly i bot it then it had no reception then the battery screwed up then i brot it to fix
now i cant change the ring tone wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just got this phone 2 days ago. It seems to me that there is no function for using the light as a torch!!!!arrrgh!!!

I really love this phone! EVen though its not a smartphone its still superb! Its screen is really great and its speakers is really loud!

the 6290 is a smartphone cause it has a symbian OS unlike the 6288 which is similar to 6230 because its only a normal phone, I have been using the 6288 for some time now and I have once owned a smart phone and Its not really that different, we have our own needs and style so why not check first both phones and see which appeals and suits to you the most

the mp3 blew me away, seriously blew me away!, but u needa set the equilizer to get the best out of it! man this phone is kick-a$$!

Yeah , so , i just bought one ... and i am extremey pleased ... it has an extraodrinary design, great features , inluding 3g , and a 2 mp camera with flash ... i had a nokia 6131 , and the menu is the same . But when i go to a pub or to drink with my friends , i am very proud of showing off my phone , becaue it looks expensive , and it sure is . GO NOKIA !!! ..i gave it 10/10/10 ... it is an awesome phone , and you can buy it without any problem , because it is a great phone ! :)

ive been using this phone for two weeks. no doubt the first time i held it, it was very nice. it looks classy and expensive. my only disappointment was its camera. its not what i expect from a 2 megapixel cam. sony ericson produced a better 2mp cam-phone with the same price. no problem with other function.
Sebastian, to change the menu type, press menu, then option, there you'll see "main menu view" then you can choose between list type, grid(icon only), grid with label(icon with application name), or tab type(a different type of menu view. wont slow your cellphone speed and its easier to access sub-folder applications.)
note: when you change main menu view type. its only for the main menu view. the gallery and application folder view wont change. you can also change the gallery & application folder view, with the same process. (option then type of view)

My friend has a 5300. She's the type of person who is in major need of hearing music everyday. She choose 5300 over a new ipod coz she saw the phone from Fallout Boys music video and loved it.
Now she listened to it everyday, I think 5300 is great for music. And more memories to than 6288, 1gb if im not wrong?
Get 5300 if you're on to music, the design is more fun and durable. 6288 squeaks a lot
