Don't know about this other one, but I have an N70 and it's not slow - don't know if some are but I looove mine. It's really great mid-priced phone, decent camera phone (considering it's a year old) and plenty of features.

I like this phone, but the buttons looks like they're touching the top - that would get annoying when typing. I notice Nokia sliders are always like that. I wish they'd take that into consideration and move the keys out a bit for the sake of ease of use... Other than that, nice.

the reason this phone is fast and doesn't lag bec it isn't a smart phone!! People!!! Why is it so hard for you to understand the BIG difference between a smart phone and a non-smart phone?!!!!!

Smart phone are the most capable phone in the market, equipped with a symbian OS that can install .sis files! Its enable to be somewhat like a PC in laymans term!

while non-smart phone like this one is very limited to its capability, .jar are probably the only file application this phone can install, and having no OS means having no weight on its shoulders so it can proces a whole lot faster and I Think would hardly or never crash....

And also I love this phone coz its simple but well-equipped!

this phone is very very fast, no lagg in any case, only when applying themes need bout 30 sec most... so its a winner over n70 hands down. my friend had a n70 and he changed it in 1 week becos of the lag in camera, gallery opening and menue browsing, so u know wad to choose :)

Symbian phones are much slower than any non-symbian ones. :)

i'm planning to buy a phone but i'm not decided yet. i'm thinking of n70 or 6288.. i'm wondering if someone can tell me w/c is faster n70 or 6288???

or if both of them are slow, can you suggest a fast phone?

                    tnx

                      1. The phone doesn't have Symbian OS.
                      2. It's not normal for the battery to drain faster, just in case you listen to music, take alot of pictures or make alot of video calls. In which case are you? Or define 'drain faster'!

My 6288 lasts in normal usage for 3 days using the 3G network and for 4 days using the 2G network.
