When it comes to processing speed between the 1GB with 2GB, the former item is faster when applied to N6288. I recommend to use 2GB.

The external memory capacity of the N6288 can be expand up to 2GB.

I am using 6288 with memory card 512mb but I want to expand to more bigger capacity of memory card..if I use 2GB card,will it make my phone slow?? and how about 1GB??? Thanks for anybody answers..:)

bought the N6288, discovered the camera seems to have a certain delay/lag to it - after pressing the button to take a pic, the pic that freezes on the screen momentarily while phone processes it(user perceives that is the pic that was taken), but after processing a delayed pic of the one taken is shown as the recorded pic! is this normal for nokia phones? Does anyone else have this problem? Will a firmware upgrade solve this bug? HELP!

when you buy a bigger memory card, how can you get all the things you have on your old memory card to your new? i was wondering about the same thing... tnx

Ginji: The slide is very smooth. Just that is is a little shaky(But i guess thats what happen in every slide phone).

se 850i capture videos with resoul of QCIF.however it has 2 megapixel camera and only picture quality is high .( no high quality VIDEO).
slide mechanism of 6288 is very good and no problem.

Everybody stop talking bout the D900 it is crap!. There is no way they are better than the 6288. 6288 is $480 outright and the d900 is in the 100-200's range no comparison what so ever!.

The nokia 6288 is a very good fone yes the slide mchanism may bit a bit loose. But its a very good fone. People who dont think this fone isnt good i'd like to see you make better.

The OS of the N6288 cannot handle heavy task with two or more functions operating at the same time like listening to MP3 music while playing mobile game.

I am using this phone for a week and it is purely a fantastic phone. Very Good Camera quality, Video recording, Superb Display and the sound quality is really amazing when used with Adapter and connected to N91 Headset. Even N91 doesn't give that much Bass effect. And for concluding i can say this series 40 phone beats all Nseries.
