Slider Mechanism gets loose.Camera is good but have seen better.The phone is quite fast but do not be fooled because it's got no Symbian os therefore no smart fone.2 mb card makes phone work slower and again i can't say why because it should not since it is no smart phone.Reception is not perfect meaning average but for that price i would rather get a Sony Ericsson instead.I can tell you that around 30 to 35 % of these phones return to repair shops.This is world wide stats.Some countries have more defaulted sets of course but compared to sony K750I for example which has a return of only 2 to 4 % world wide.You choose now

Hi there,
I have bought this phone recently! Nice and quite smart indeed, but there's one problem that popped in: impossible to send themes via multimedia messages. The file format seems to be not supported while attaching the theme to the multimedia message. Any suggestions?

well to tell u the truth i am now a sonyerricson fan -- i am still a Nokia fan but less i have had nokia 6233 and 6280 they are both goood phones but sonyerricson phones are better in every way -- these nokias restart all the time and the menus are abit slow sometimes..so all in all nokia arent perfect company for me yet..hope they are sooon becuase there fones are good just little things that spoil it

The Nokia 6288 has no autofocus but video and camera quality is fair when it comes to it's output.

it is worth buying the nokia 6288. i've been using a 6680 and now want to change. please advise. i want a phone with 3G,bluetooth,camera,radio n music player basically....

Hey there everybody! I own a 6280 and I am very pleased with it when it comes to its customization. I think it is extremely customizable and it’s a pretty fast phone. It lacks a few things though, like the ability to us the LED as an ordinary light source or to send several files at once via Bluetooth. So I decided to purchase the Nokia 6288 but I couldn’t find a detailed review like the one of 6280. So could anyone confirm the following: does it support 2GB memory cards? Does it have Flash Lite? If yes is it 1.1 or 2.0?? Because Nokia 6280 doesn’t play flash movies, but 6233 does. Can we use the LED as a light? Does it display the remaining percentage of a file when being sent? Does it show the remaining time of a track being played? Does it fast forward and rewind videos? Is the music player the same or does it have different looks?
It would be a great deal if anyone could help me with this. Thanks in advance.

i think its a great fone but abit flimsy and yes it does have radio but its not the best reciption i need to know how to use the front camera

M81n, does the camera have a sliding lens cover? You say that video capture tops N90; could you tell me the fps. I already know it's VGA. I can't see much difference between the 6288 vs 6280.

PS:
Even on Nokia site. I dont see any feature like Radio or FM listed under 6288, still the advance search on the site also gives me 6288 in the list of searched results.

I just used phonefinder with
brand:Nokia
Radio:Required
Options and it showed me 6288 in the results.
