hi i have a little problem with my phone i hope somebody can help. when i receive a call and ans, a sign like zig zag appears and then i can hear the caller clearly but they cannot hear me. what shd i do

Every battery I have ever seen in a cell phone was made in China. Obviously China makes the best batteries.
As much as people make a big deal about China, China make products for different market segments. They make a lot of mass market products so the rest of the world can easily purchase their goods. Then they have their high-end products which caters to the middle to rich class people. Don't talk against China as if their products are inferior. In the cellular department, Europe outclasses China, which is just one exception compared to the many products that China produces.
My 6300 was made in Hungary and battery made in China. The battery is the ORIGINAL slim BL-4C battery.
The first day I got the phone I allowed it to charge for 24 hours. When I first turned on the phone I experimented with it, played games, music, viewed photos and I was able to play around with it for 7 1/2 hours straight before the battery went dead. I charged it for another 24 hours, played with it until it died again and then for a third time charged it for another 24 hours and after it died the third time I decided to charge it the normal way where as soon as the phone showed a full charge I plugged it out.
Frank, how did you go about your charging process when you first got the phone ?

You say your 6300 made it with 4 hour talk time and 6 hour standby. Now can u kindly give details of your "super 4ne".
1.Is your super 4ne Finnish or Hungarian make?
2.Is your battery THE SLIM BL-4C LIKE THE REST?
3.Is your BL-4C Finnish,Hungarian,Germany or Chinese make?
If so, then where does the trick lie?
Because, my 6300 is Original Hungarian with Original slim BL-4C BATTERY Made in China. And I cannot make it beyond 50 hours with ordinary use!

Get a 6500 slide or sony the battery on 6300 isnt good an it is a old phone now with terrible camera an heat issue the other oj harps on about how fantastic it is an it isnt thats fact a problematic phone.

It was really encourging to see the reply from few guys.
I do not use the 6300 alot for music or for taking pictures. I am professional and all my usage is by making and attending calls.
My 6300 is made in Hungary. The current software version is V06.01 dated 16-01-2008, RM-217.
The information regarding battery is as under:

Made in China.
Please reply to the question is this the updated software version, do u guys think that updating the software for 6300 can have some difference on the battery life.

I have also gotten 6 days of standby time on several occasions and even though I didn't make a call *during the* 6 days - I meant to say every day during the 6 days.

Jawad, 27 Jul 2008I have two questions about Nokia 6300. I just got the new s... moreJAWAD the more I read about short battery life the more I think some unscrupulous people have fake 6300s selling.
This is my story in a nutshell:
Once I made a straight call and it lasted for 3:39 minutes.
Another time I made a call and stayed on it for 2 hours exactly, hung up and then shortly after I received a call and stayed on it for another exact 2 hours...that's 4 hours on a single charge!!!!!!
I have also gotten 6 days of standby time on several occasions and even though I didn't make a call during the 6 days, I received at least two calls each day until the 6th day. I sent text messages about 4 days of the 6 days and played a song and a 5 min. music video on one day out of the 6 days.
As you can see, no battery issues with my phone.
Sorry to hear that yours isn't as long lasting

Thnx 4 all yo opinions. At least forum is now mature.ThNX 2 U guys like Original Jamaican & Dani for advice U Guys give us. I previously had my 1st 6300 which I got rid of & moved to 3110classic, then to SEs w200,w810i,k610i & back to 3110classic which i gave to my Sweetie.I finally had 2 return to 6300 after that unsatisfying tour. So if I TELL "DOUBTING THOMASes" that 6300 is the phone, Guys just believe me.
- Its cool inside out. Though battery had previously been my worry, I 've become used to it.
- I am now trying out Dani's battery saving tips of whose results am beginning to realise.
So guys don't get discouraged with those negative comments. NOKIA 6300 IS A VERY GOOD PHONE. WISHING U THE BEST IN PHONE PERFORMANCE!!!

I have two questions about Nokia 6300. I just got the new set 6300, what i felt that its battery time is very low. like for me its just vanished in 8 to 10 hours with one 40 to 45 min of talk time. Is it normal behaviour with this set?
My software version is V06.01 dated 16-Jan-2008. Is their any new version available and if thr is what's are the new things in that.
