though n6300 is a great phone but am having problem with it the packet data connection(G) is not showing even after putting it on ALWAYS ONLINE So i can not make use of the GPRS in order to browse. please do u guys have solution to this. i will b very gratefull

In fact, default was on my sim. . . . . . . . . . Btw the phone is good. . . . If any1 lukin forward to buy it, go and grab it asap! Its cool. . . .

I love the phone the moment I saw my nephew was getting hold of one. The stainless steel finishing really was attracting. So, without checking I decided to buy one. Whent I went to the phone shop I pointed straight to it because I didn't really know what was its model number. It was only after I brought it back and served the website then I realized that there was another model (6301) which looks very similar to the 6300 model. Although with just a minor difference in the specifications, I then started to realize, I should have bought the most latest one, the 6301 model.Anyway NOKIA has always been my first choice like all of you smart guys out there.

I love this phone yet i am having a little problem. Same as the one who posted a question below, is there a way in which we could make the fone ring louder or its msg. alert ringer? i can barely hear it while i am commuting in a public utitility vehicle while my phone is inside my bag. please help and/or give advises. tnx

I Can Proudly say the 6300 is One of the Best i have ever had!!!!!
its the Best, nothing comes close
6300 highly reccomended to whomever is wanting to purchase it

Friend all your judgements came out right of what you said about SE, they build quality is really WEAK and honestly i have had 5 SE Phones and not 1 come closer to Nokia's
I had a W850i the D-Pad cracked on it and it kind of stopped working
then i got K810i as a cameraphone - its Keypad and Joystick are flaking off the colour is flaking and the back cover is creaking
then i got the K850i which
i was hyped about and in the end Died becuase of a firmware Bug called BROD(Blue Ring Of Death) its gone for a Repair but i hope to exhange it for N82 !!
so iv left SE for good now...
NOKIA FOR LIFE!!!!!
so please be my friend again OJ please please please!!!!!!

i just bought one today. have always had Nokia. the rining is so low even on high and asending outdoor i can bearly here it as a whisper. i tried everything profiles tones you name it.any thoughts???

I suggest you update your phone to the latest Nokia OS using Nokia PC Suite and clicking on Update Phone Software.
Maybe your OS is corrupted

there is no control in display, no flash, video format is 3gp, low battery, become heat in heavy use, hang on net browsing and many more problem .....

By the way the fact wat happened to my phone is that whenever i click on "Send" button, everything gets freezes. . . . . . . . . . . . Any button don't works after that. . . . . . . . . . The only option left is to keep pressing the button situated on upwards and after some sec, the phone gets switched off. Again i've to restart my ph. I think there is sth fault wid my OS. I've tried by resetting factory default also. . . . . . . . . After resetting it, when i try to send sms , i need to set my centre name and number there. After doing that, the msg is sent. But again when i try to send sms, then the same prob. And there is nth wrong with my setting. By the way i think i havent been able to send sms a single before.

The fact that you are able to restart your phone more than likely means that your phone's operating system is NOT at fault. It must be a SMS setting problem.
First of all, when you say it hangs, do you mean the SMS indicator where the arrow keeps falling down into the box freezes ?
Have you ever sent a SMS successfully before since you got the phone ?
When you post these messages you should state as much information as possible in order to receive the best assistance.
At this point, the only thing I can say is that maybe the message centre number got messed up or is missing.
Go to the SMS settings and check message centre information.
Go to .
The first first option in the TEXT MESSAGES sub-menu is check that and see if your provider is listed in there.
The second option is without even entering that option you will be able to see, at a glance, if your provider is selected.
If your provider isn't in any of the Message Centre settings then the ONLY thing you can do is to give them a call, get the settings and then enter them manually.
There was a point in time my text messages froze each time I tried to send a SMS and I had to try resending the same messages quite a few times before they were eventually sent...but nothing was wrong with my phone, the network had a few problems which was eventually ironed out.
Please reply and let me know the status of things.

i love nokia 6300 phone this is the best phone i ever have it has camera and video i have used a phone first nokia 3310 then nokia 6610i. nokia 6300 has been good than nokia 6610i. any one who want to buy this phone buy it. it is cool

I am wondering how loud the handsfree is? Am thinking of buying this 1 or the Nokia 6500 but want one that has a good handsfree speaker & not 1 that u can hardly hear them.
