Dear original jamaican i agree with you its shame they didnt leave camera as it was it would of been better how old is your 6300 i wonder where software upgrades will rectify this.regards kathleen

That green glare you talk about is not just with the 6300. Most new Nokias have it. I will admit, I myself do not like it.
This glare is not found in older phones like 6233 and it would have been nice if Nokia left it that way.

When i got 6300 i liked but after 6 months ive gone off it.it heats up during calls after ten minutes or so it gives me headaches.the battery life is abysmal the camera has a green glare however i must add it looks nice and screens bright but thats about it.im looking for a new phone now and retire my 6300 to the draw or a spare.

There are several of the in set Ringtones on my 6300 that are low in volume output,The same thing applies to almost all mobile models and brands that exist.
My 6300 has several high volume ringtones that can be heard easily, even in a noisy area.
I have also set several loud MP3's on to one of my profile settings and between the loudest 2 phone ringtones and my MP3's I have enough volume to easily catch my attention in noisy enviroments.
I really and truily hate handsets with low ringtones because i like a good blast when its necessary, and my 6300 does not dissapoint, I have heard a lot worse.

the sound is very very low, even being on high ringer. Day 1 i started facing this....
is it with all cell?

I Can't use instant messege service through inbuilt application in my nokia 6300. whenever i try to login though it, it displays the messege "Login Failed" rather my username and Password are 100% correct. Please help me if u know whats the problem behind it

i like my 6300 no doubt about it...i have this for bout 3 days...but im dissapointed with my phones sound quality... do i buy a defective 6300? how bout ur 6300 does it sound loud?

why is my 6300 very low sound despite having it in max volume? hardly hear it if im outside or in a ride......any help with this?

reason of marketing variety of models with different shapes, sizes and features are to suite each ones likings. nothing is less and nothing is more as beauty lies in the beholders eyes. otherwise it would have been boring to have only one model for everyone.
Nokia, SE, Moto, Samsung, LG, Alcatel,
*%@(^$# etc, etc are all beautiful subject to each ones choice.

7500 Prism isnt as good as 6300
have you seen how 7500 Prism looks?
it makes me Sick
so please dont compare that weird looking phone to the 6300

It is a free world what phone people pick is up to them everyone is different and unique if you pick 6300 an love it great if you pick it an dont love it thats great you cant force your opinions on others if they leave rewiews an dont like battery or phone thats up to them we shouldnt allow bully tactics an criticism of others its personal choice an thats it

Everyones at it now i am from jamaica oficial and prism looks nice and the battery lasts longer the screens better to the 6300 isnt as crisp an batterys bad

Thanks mate..remembered me.. Stopped psoting in the forum.. aint worth it.. when u have people who dont understand wat a forum stands for.
Anyways i do come to the forum...
I moved on to T650i.. for me my 6300 gives me crappy battery life. Thats the end of it....

someone seems to be marketing 6300 desperately. are they getting commission from nokia????????????????
nobody is disputing 6300s quality. all nokia phones are good and reliable and nothing is so great about 6300 as its just a gadget going to be outdated soon. so why all this noice about it. many of them seems to be obsessed with it. how lucky 6300.

Battery Life of 6300 is HIGH
It has a LOUD LOUD Loudspeaker
Nokia would not make a phone of low standards thats just not Possible
NO company in this world would sell a Authentic Phone to somebody of Bad Quality
Just Like in the Real World. not this GSMarena Fanboy blah blah blah blah World
Judging a Phone wrongly gets you nowere in Life.
so please just buy a 6300 and Face the Truth of Reality.
6300 is a EXCELLENT Phone for everyone
