Hello Cheska! I am also from the Philippines, KABABAYAN! =)

Anyway, I'm afraid I couldn't help you with your inquiry since I am not that much into Symbian phones anymore. The only Symbian phones I used were the 7610 and the 6630 which were both great during their time. However, the newer N-series models (which my sister had used i.e. N70, N73, etc.) had too many software issues that's why I lost my interest in them. Besides, I don't think this is the right place for your inquiry. You see, this is the 6300 forum. =)

    @Cheska:
    I don't think that was OJ who answered your question. Personally I think that there is some fake OJ who reply your post, because the original OJ isn't a problematic nor angry person. On the opposite he help people that haveproblems with their phones. Maybe the people cobtriubte too because ask the same questions many times like the batery life and maybe OJ think that some people don't trust on what he said.

    Well if you want a comparision personally I would go for 6120c if I want a little better camera because the flash and the higher image quality, the front video call camera, better musiq quality and interface (it supports albumart)and is shorter. The price tag is also cheaper.
    But if you are in the conectivity side, want more memory (both RAM and ROM), Wi-Fi and IRda, more solid feel (the back cover is made of metal)and a better battery, I think the E51 is a better choice. Both take up to 8gb micro sdhc cards.

      To the Jamaican:
      Dear, what are you talking about? I'm not making a trouble here my God im just asking for your comparison. :(
      Well sorry if asking for a comparison is a trouble for you. And to tell you honestly with absolute certainty that it is just yesterday that i have discovered GSMArena.com.

      Anyway, to the others like Rony and prem:
      What do you think is better, 6120c or E51? Please please please make a comparison. Best regards from Cheska of Philippines!

        @OJ:
        Hey do u remember me from the 6230 forum??
        I waas searching on this forum to see that you as always love to help people having problems and helping them with doubts.
        But I have seen a post where you said that you are looking for a replacement for your 6300. Is that true?? I saw that you wrote about E51, so I think you want to enter to the Symbian world like I did some time ago when I changed my 6230 for 6682 and then for my actual 5700. Well let me tell you that every decision you make will be good the S60 is great now with the fast processors and big RAM so they won't let you down. But if you want to keep your 6300 that will be good too because as I saw in the opinions your 6300 is the best ever made, no faults, great batery life and speedy OS. Well if you want to upgrade let me know with a post or something. Take care

          to everyone
          well as i told you before i did experience heat from the phone even i could feel the heat from the phone on my ear lobes. i sold it only for that reason and the person who bought, today when checked with him, his complain matches mine. so today i visited mobile shopping complex where several mobile shops are located and i know quite a few shop owners and when checked with them to my surprice every ones complaint was same that they have received from many various customers that the phone gets hot while talking. i got nothing against 6300, but the fact of getting hot is true in this country. i am not sure whether this model supplied to different regions in the world are made of different components which is developing the phone to get hot.

              To ALEX:

              As I tell everybody in here who's skeptical about getting the phone. Don't listen to hear-says and rumours. Be your own judge. There's no better review than your very own. At least you are smart and decided not to listen to the negative.

                I recently purchased this phone. I was skeptical at first, after reading the things people wrote about battery life and it heating up. Now, let me dispute the myths.

                THE PHONE DOES NOT HEAT UP! Your hand warms up the steel battery cover, not the battery.

                THE BATTERY IS GOOD! It last for a long time with the average talk time and texting. I do a lot of both, and the battery last at least 2 days.

                Other than that, the keys are ergonomic and ARE USER FRIENDLY!

                This phone is perfect for those of us that need a phone with cool features, but not over the top, which we would not use.

                Sure it doesn't have Wi-Fi, but get a frigging lap top. You can't use a phone to browse web pages the way you would on a computer or a lap top.

                Sure the camera doesn't have a flash, but invest in a good digital camera and have good quality everything. Phones have plastic cameras that will never compete with dedicated cameras.

                Signal if very good on this phone.

                Great phone, but it. Good price2feature ratio!

                  Hi Jamaican!. So you are now eyeing for the E51? Cheers! I'm also planning to buy that handset but i'm just quite mixed up with my choice between E51 and N6120classic. Could you please make a comparison between these two handsets that i have mentioned please?.. Because i personally think that the 6120c is really a tough competitor in the face of E51 because they are both lightweight and compact smartphones. So please if possible, make a comparison. Please please please...

                    yes, stereo on 6300 means only through headphones and i dont think so from the handset as you can find only one speaker at the back of the phone. To experience stereophonic sound there should be two seperate speakers placed away from each other.

                        As for Dani, the mono output you were referring to e.g. 3310 ringtones is a totally different terminology. That "mono" means "monotonic" which is used to classify ringtones that only have 1 CHORD, as opposed to "monophonic" which we use in classifying music having only 1 CHANNEL. FYI, the older symbian phones i.e. 7650, 6600, and 7610 have mono audio output (whether thru loudspeaker or headphones).

                          I would stick with my own understanding of "stereo". Got this definition off some website:

                          "Stereo, or sometimes known as stereophonic sound, is the reproduction of sound using two independent audio channels. Separate microphones are used in recording and separate speakers are used in reproduction."

                          I couldn't imagine how one can appreciate stereo sound using one speaker only, as stereo is an audio reproduction which is intended to allow the listener to perceive DIFFERENT sounds from different sources positioned to his left and to his right. So clearly, stereo is best achieved when using headphones. But when using loudspeaker, you should have at least two separate speakers that are DISTANT from each other in order to SIMULATE human hearing (the case with 6233, 7370, and the XpressMusic line).

                          I think the 6300 is classified as stereo by Nokia since it DOES produce stereo output WHEN using headphones. But when playing sound thru the loudspeaker (which the 6300 only has one), the output is downmixed to mono. But then that's just my personal belief.

                            @Rony

                            OJ has said it all

                            Stereo doesnt mean 2 Speakers

                            Mono output is like on the old Nokia's e.g. 3310 ringtones lol

                            6300 has Stereo Output
                            6233 has 2 Stereo Output
                            5310 Has stereo Output

                                No I'm sticking to the my 6300 for the time being.

                                When I do decide to change my phone more than likely I will go for a Symbian seeing that they are now as slim and fast as the new S40 phones.

                                I have my eye on the E51 as my next upgrade.

                                      To RONY

                                      You don't need 2 speakers to achieve stereo. I even had old cassette radios with 1 speaker and the audio output was in stereo. The packaging even stated the radio gives stereo output.

                                      Now, if you say the stereo output is better with 2 speakers then that's a different story.

                                      2 speakers gives better stereo flow. That's the only difference.

                                      Even my old Nokia 6230 had a stereo speaker.
