I would just like to inquire, does anyone know how to do a hard reset for this model (6300) and not just the restore factory settings?

To KRITRIM MANUSH:
Yes this phone supports Microsoft Outlook.
Install the PC Suite Software for your phone. Go to synchronize and set up the phone to use Outlook to sync your contacts and other info.
You can even set the PC Suite to auto-sync so each you connect your phone to your PC it will transfer info from your phone to Outlook and vice versa.

I must also tell you that the 6300 display is not only bright and legible, it's as detailed as life.
Because of it's extremely high quality LCD screen + the 16.7 Million colours, its the clearest, sharpest and most detailed screen around. As somebody from another community site said: "the screen cannot be beat, it's crystal".
The screen is said to be clearer than any LCD monitor, HDTV or other phone screen out there...I totally agree.
Get the phone and I will send you a theme and you won't believe your eyes at the clarity of it all. This phone screen makes you feel as if you are in the picture too...that feeling of being there!

The look of this mobile set is very dashing.
It has all that feature in it which a person will like to look.And about the price,it is affordable for anyone.
plz give me the the full information of its (micro Sd Card),whether it has the feature of extendable memory or not.

can I use a substitute battery BL-5C instead of a BL-4C on this phone. The battery life is the shortest out of all the nokia phones I have ever used! I just make the basic phone calls with my phone...no browsing and downloading!! I can't believe I have to recharge this phone every 2 days... Besides that I think the phone is cool!

PLS PLS can anyone tell me how to prolong the battery life of this phone besides putting the battery in sleep mode and power saver mode. I find that the battery life is too short/poor!!!...I just make calls with my phone..!!!! help

Personally I haven't test the w200 but the fact that the w810 is a higher-end phone than w200 I would expect the w810 to sound better than w200 and if w810 sounds better than w200 then 6300 automatically sounds better than w200.
The brightness, backlighting is just right and the contrast is not too high to hurt the eyes. If you are in a really dark place, disable wallpaper and you have a serious flashlight.

talkin about nokia 6300 it is d best phone in its range.I want to buy nokia n72 coz i heard a lot gud about it.Seeing on the internet nokia n72 looks gr8 with its design to many people and nokia 6300 looks inferior.Butttt trust meeee nokia n72 has very very very very bad graphics coz it has very less color resolution where n72 has 256000 colors nokia 63000 has 16.7 million colours and when i saw the colors of the nokia 6300 i became a gr8 fan of it and bought it on d spot,mor0ver it did not hang like n72 and is d best phone

and addition to my question is the brightness of dis fone dat good??? is it too bright to see??? or too dark too see ... coz i have past fones who has CSTN and UBC ... is it the display lyk dis fones???

i'm gonna ask this again. has anyone tried using the more powerful Nokia BL-4U 1000maH battery with the 6300? it's the one that came with Nokia 8800 Arte and the upcoming Nokia 3120 classic. i believe it's also the type that comes with the Nokia 6301. please anyone enlighten me on this.

To JAYSON:
This phone is loud enough for both audio and video... but not as loud as any music oriented phone though like the Nokia Express music line or Sony Ericsson walkman series.
Strangely enough I find video playback to be louder than audio playback.
The sound quality is excellent and sounds BETTER than the Sony Ericsson W810 which I personally tested for myself.

I got this phone in white and just today it stuffed up. It was the best phone until then, but i do think the problem is fixable.

This phone is gud with its low price, but the battery life is worse. also its so called 16M color screen is not bright enough.

Yeah its a Common Phone becuase its soo Good becuase its the one of the Best Selling Phones at the Moment
About the Battery Life:
it only has a Lion-850Mah Power Battery in it becuase its Slim and Has Stainless Steel Materials Used for the Body!
So Please dont give it up just becuase of the Not so Bad Battery Life!
