This model is ok but the disadvantage is discharging the batery quickly,even thoug I am not using the music or game menue.The metalic cover got hot when we use the incoming call more than 2 minutes.Any suggesion to reduce this diacharge of batery.

I have problems with being constantly late to work and so on, so i found this phone good to have a second watch thingy. i am getting really thin though right now, i need some roids of somesing. please give me some kind of padding for my arms and such!

tried it along with the 6500c; poor battery life and recption nokia lost it,good on paper but in the real world naff. the only nokia worthy in these times of sim only deals etc the trusty nokia 6310i of a few years ago calls and texts all you need.not a fashion statment phone that just don;t cut it my veiw.like 6500c 6300 got recption and poor battery issues/ maybe nokia forgot the aerial even with the lattest firmware fixes naff. nokia 6310i needs resurecting gone back to this several times still the king. 2nd 6021 bet this stirrs the trendies up.

does this phone have stereo bluetooth?
i bought a bluetooth cd player for my car and i was going to buy this phone but only if it has stereo bluetooth so i can store songs on the phone and play them in the car.

Unfortunately the 6300 doesn't have a password protect feature. I'm yet to see this feature in a Nokia phone.

Sorry about the late reply.
I am yet to see any casing for this phone but I'm sure there are some out there.
For every phone, you will find disgruntled people with their complaints. Personally I don't have a problem with the 6300. Decent battery life, the BEST screen out there, you have to see it to believe it! and very intuitive user interface and practical functions.
Normally I read official reviews like the one here in GSM Arena and scour the internet for other official reviews and then I get the phone for myself and make my own judgement.
What surprised me most of all was CNET giving this phone 8.3 out of 10. CNET is the hardest rating coming and many top of the line phones get a rating of less than 8 out of 10 so right then and there I knew this phone was really special.
You can play movies or any other type of videos with ease. The good thing about this phone is that it uses the H.264 video codec which gives you better picture quality than regular MPEG-4/3GP. Encoding videos in this codec will also save memory...as you can get high quality picture at low bitrates.
I have watched an entire movie and the quality was lovely. It played flawlessly from start to end.
MADDY, this phone is a bestseller. It helped to double Nokia's profit all of last year and still going strong this year. It can't be a crappy phone to achieve this (smile). Get the phone and don't listen to others. Be your own judge. Take care.
