Great all round phone. Screen v good, (except on night pic mode - can get v blurred). Music options are good also. Great to text, v robust and as with all Nokias has good operating system in that it is easy to use and navigate around the menus. Metalic case can scratch very easily tho. Only downside is that battery goes quickly with screensaver activated, although with normal use can last 4-5 days.

its a sweetheart,reminds me of 6230i, honetly there is no other better nokia than this phone,the size and weight are cool, the camera(could'nt buy me a digital camera when i've got one with me)really it is one in a million.get to the nearest cellphone outlet and see for yourself

got it 4 3 months. it's an excellent phone. no problems at all. battery holds till 6 days, great pics, great design... hats off for Nokia!!!!!

Big up to the designers, this phone is good. Lacks 3g and flash, but it is value for money. Wish nokia can get us the tracker thing, phone theft is big. Also need a chip that disables functionality of blocked phones. They steal them in south africa and go sell them in ghana. Blocking works only in local operators.
Overall. Big up to these guys.

Battery is pretty decent for me. I don't charge for 2-3days.
Internet & Bluetooth is off.
Hardly play games.
SMS occasionally.
This lowers the use of the lcd screen.

hello every body!
i have just bought a 6300 Nokia. it is the best. i have got a slid issue with using GPRS in my PC i mean browsing internet through my phone. i have already installed the pc suite, when i want to get connected an error message appears in phone "data pocket authentication failed" i have tried to change the gprs setup many times but still it is not fixed. could any body help me? I do appreciate any advice on my issue to be sent to my mail

The phone battery does not last long. it is not the best choice phone for a busy person or traveller as the battery requires recharging on a daily basis.

hey....there seems to be no further war between Winura and Fritz on their nokia models. No one needs to be emotional about their owned models. well at last peace has rained upon you guys. let people comment the way they like, because everyone has right to be a critic. the manufacturers of the mobiles should take these criticism as positive comment to improve the construction and quality of their respective mobile instruments.

if u need a phone to fill with soft and apps this one its not 4u,but 4 me this is one of the most confortable phones i've owned,its solid,sounds cool,and the camera íts acceptable,try the black one,i have it,if u want plentya of soft ware get the cingular 8125,i also own this pda,but it doesnt compare on 6300 in terms of confortability.

i wonder if we could use the more powerful Nokia BL-4U battery (the one that comes with Nokia 8800 Arte) with the 6300?
