i like it at first but disliked it after couple of days, i dont like it taking pictures, it doesn't seem to be 2MP. it's like an ordinary phone camera.... anyway, it looks great...

This is a very gud phone but again the weak point battery timing ... em getting tired of pluging in the pin all the time..uff.
anyhow, its a gud, smart, lovely, nd my fav. phone.
Anyone can tell me, how to improve battery timing ....lolz

This is actually a good phone! Love the keypad, the screen, camera and audio quality... But it is annoying sometimes, the phone turns off by itself.. Or it hangs... But other than that, it is very good.. Good price and good colours.. Black, Black&Silver, Red and White..

i hate it when i take pictures.my phone always hangs up or sometimes it's on a standby mode even if i still have space in my memory card.pls do help!thanks

The phone heats up when the atmosphere is hot Bob.
OCEAN, the only thing you can do is to destroy your phone. go to a Nokia shop, tell them you IMEI and nobody would be able to use it.

I have heard that the phone heats up after just 5 minutes of talking, is this true?

I'm sad to hear that the firmware problems are starting bothering again some users. As I posted a few months ago, NOKIA changed my phone because it was restarting. I am very dissapointed from the company because they took my phone to service on September 4 and they gave it back to me on October 30!
I hope that you all have a "simple" firmware problem. I have my own phone with the same 5.50 Version and there are no problems with this...
Recently I tried something else. I put the battery of my previous 6230i (BL-5C) by scratching it's corners into my 6300 and until now the phone lasts 3 days and I have enough battery for one more day. It's funny because my old battery is 2.5 years old!!!!
Imagine what will happen with a new 1020mA BL-5C battery!!!!
And don't listen to anyone that says that this type of battery might be dangerous. They only changed the size (so as not to fit) and the capacity (which in 6300 is very POOR).
That's why I believe that 6300 is expensive and Nokia dissapointing. Maybe the rude anontymous british user will say awful comments against me again like "greek the geek" but the truth remains the same.
Why Nokia doesn't put into the retail box a cable for a PC connect? Why do they put only an 128MB microSD? Why does the phone has a funny battery?
Sad sad sad... They should know that previous users of the best ever phone, 6230i are not satisfied.
And believe me... After all these problems I still love my slim Finn...

Travel chargers for Nokia phone have been around for a long time. Even if the battery life is excellent many times you get a travel charger. My previous phone, Nokia 6230 had a very long battery life. I got 5 days easily and sometimes more, maybe 6 1/2 days was the longest...yet it came with a travel charger. It's all about compactness and less cumbersome.
Even some 3310s (released in year 2000) came with travel chargers.
The reason why you only get 1 day out of your phone is because you play with it a lot. I easily get several days out of my phone. The longest I ever used the phone without recharging was 4 days.
Battery life as always, is dependent on what you do with the phone.

love my phone...6300 is a good choice...
but sevral negatives like any phone
battery life...
it appears as white screen sometimes..

its awesomee.
had mine since christmas
pretty damn cool.
but i always wondered
why they came with
portable chargers.
now i know.
battery life is only one day.
doesnt bother me.
i charge it every night anyway.
