To the HATERS:
As I said before I got 3 hrs. 39 mins. worth of talk time out of my phone. What is there to complain about.
Also, I said I would never discourage anybody from buying a SE phone. I'm NOT biased.
KKK, you probably aren't intelligent enough to realise this, but As SYAM said, this forum is supposed to be a forum to discuss the NOKIA 6300 phone, NOT a forum to discuss other brands and which phone is better than 6300. I too have said this before...which is why I said if people in here don't throw other brands in other people's faces, then that alien brand won't get dissed.
KKK, I have merely stated what I have experienced with SE phones. I have NOT added or subtracted anything from my experiences. Since you seem to be ignorant to certain things, sometimes SE and Motorola fans come in here and try to create mischief. KKK I am not the one starting wars, it's other people who try to convince others which outside brands are better. I would never give up my life for any material thing.
SYAM, I'm NOT the only person who talks about getting good battery performance from my 6300. WAZOMBA said it over and over and others too. Search the forum to jog your memory.
The BOTTOMLINE is I have no issues with my phone. END OF STORY!

Yes, i agree that Original Jamaican is a liar.. He never admitted that 6300 has got a very poor battery life.
And the even worse thing about this man is that, he is very much criticizing SE's which has gone farther and farther. He is too cruel with the words he choose in describing SE's!
Definitely not just a simple issue to laugh at.
Hey you Original_Jamaican, as much as possible take this issue seriously because this criticism of yours has gone so far..
This is not a joke so keep warning yourself not to do those stuffs again..

I thot this was a forum where people tried talking abt how they feel about a particular phone, this place is becoms like one place where people vent their anger on one another.

i guess u have the only 6300 which is got good battery life.. either that or our measuring gauge is worng.
No pun intended,,,

Please learn the meaning of the word bastard before using it!
If people don't come here and throw other brands (like SE) in people face then I won't have another brand to ANTOGONIZE.
I have had enough, seen enough and heard of enough bad experiences with SE to know that the build quality isn't good. Furthermore, SE doesn't pay much attention to the telephony department. Great example is K700 compared to 6230. I won't elaborate on those 2 rivals. In the end though 6230 lives on while K700 is buried 6 feet under.
I don't have any problems with my 6300 NOT even the battery! The other day I charged my 6300 then used it hard for the day which included making and receiving quite a few calls, sending and receiving quite a few texts, taking around 5 photos, playing a video clip among other things. I decided to use it moderately after that and got 2 more days out of it. What is there to complain about. It's so funny that the things that people complain about I don't experience rhem with my mobiles. One opinionist complained that after a full charge, 30 mins. of talking kills their battery. I have been on a call for 1 hour without a drop in battery life. Another person complained that after 200 messages the phone won't accept anymore. I have 1096 messages in my mailbox as I write this and I haven't received a low message warning up to now. Somebody also complained that after a full charge, sending 5-8 SMS results in a drop in battery life. I have sent over 20 text messages throughout an entire day and went to bed with a full charge, absolutely NO decrease in battery life. I could go on and on and on.
The bottomline is I don't have any problems with my battery life or anything with the phone...at least nothing to complain about and I'm going to state it as it is.
The biggest complaint in this forum is about the battery life, well I have gotten 3 hrs. 39 mins. worth of talk time and I strongly believe I can get more because I used the phone for quite a few minutes before I received the call.
3 hrs. 39 mins. is MORE talk time than what Nokia states so how can I complain about the battery life ?
If I'm biased toward a company it's because of bad experiences. Regardless of YOU PEOPLE accusing me of being biased toward Sony Ericsson I'm NOT going to discourage anybody from buying their phones...I'm not like that. Peace.

face it people there no Perfect Phone in this world and No Perfect Machine
SE and Nokia are two different companies altoghether different products they make they have advantages over eachother and disadvatages its just Life......
and Original_Jamaican is good at saying good stuff about NOKIA all the time but when it comes to SE its bad, yes i know you own Nokia and Proud but SE is a good company in their way, i own both Nokia and SE

No machine is perfect similarly No phone is perfect .
Battery life is something thats not greta in this phone.There are times when i have felt people have went ahead acted as total 6300 fanatics its their choice.

Hi!! Good day Gsmarena users!!! I just bought my nokia 6300. I really loved it the design?features?performance? its very great. For those people who are wondering about the life span of their battery it really depends upon your usage. Like for example if your message alert tone is an mp3 tone it really consumes the life span of the battery, bluetooth is another battery life consuming and vibra also. I suggest you minimize one of the functions of your phone and your battery will prolonged its life span. Thank you for finding time reading my opinion God bless each and everyone of you.

to mr. Popocatepetl and others who own this beautiful phone:
please, i ask you, what do you mean with "very poor" battery life? how many days in a regular use, i say calls, messages and little use of other features ?
i'm very interested in buying this phone, it's small and so georgeous :)
i just want a phone to make calls and send/receive messages and must have a schedule ok, nothing more. what do you advise me, small, with alloy all over the body and just to calls and messages?

we are complain about the battery because battery life is very poor. i saw a post from amazon that nokia released a new battery 1000mA. i'm gonna buy one or else i will throw my handset in the sea!

it is not the first time that you are answering to my comments. It's like you're always there to support nokia from "bad" SE.
Look, I used to have 5110, 6210, 6310, 3220 and my awesome 6230i (my favorite phone ever).
I am not a SE fun. I used to love Nokias menu and I still do. But! I just bought a W610 and although it's screen is averaged (176X220 resolution is not good. 6300 is the best phone in this category) and the speakerphone is not so good, I am satisfyied. And battery (950m not 860 like 6300) lasts 4 or 5!!! days and it has unbelievable handfrees. The menu is just ok.I am not fan of any company. I find K800 v e r y ungly and with slow menu. But you must agree with me in that: NOKIA must do something with the battery lasting. It is getting tiring to charge the cellphone every day if i speak a little bit more!
As a conclusion I would forgive the disadavantages of 6300 - it hasn't so many for sure! - if NOKIA could add a battery of 1050 mAH, then ok. I could be in love with this phone (and I am with the look!!)
