I currently have a Nokia 9300, for business purposes, but I really don't use all the features (my laptop is used for e-mails, faxes, internet, etc). I'm considering a new Nokia, but I'm not sure whether I should be going for the Nokia E60 or Nokia 6300? Any comments or advice would be appreciated. I dont really care whether the cell has or doesn't have a camera, radio, etc. I don't ever use them (my car has a great radio and I own a digital video/still camera anyway, so it really doesn't matter). These two cells, other than the camera and radio, appear very similar, or am I wrong?

Fantastic piece of kit from Nokia. They've done it again. I've had mine for about about three weeks now and have no gripes with it. Not used the Radio or MP3 player as I mostly use it for phone. The camera is Ok at only 2MP but not a replacement for dedicated digital camera.

The phone feels nice and weighty in the hand, not so much that it will give you cramp whilst using it. Solid build with the buttons easy to use and quite sizable. The metal finish looks very classy when on the table so doesn't look out of place in meetings and in cafes.

Features on the phone are easy accessible using the navigation button as tiles or can be changed to traditioanl Nokia list format. The display is very good and viewable in bright sunlight.

Battery life is also good, charge it every other week. Uses Micro SD card which can be removed without having to take out the battery.

All in all this is a very well built piece of kit. Coming back to Nokia from using a Sony Ericsson, its like a breath of fresh air. Never going back to SE phones. FInally, if you liked the old school Nokia's then this is a phone for you.

      Piece Out. Happy phone hunting!

I guess there are better phones on the market with theses options which are cheaper but if you want a phone to last go for it. It's hardy for a phone with all those features. It's slim. And it's NOKIA. Go for it.

bought this phone a while ago after sometime researching here at gsmarena forums.. your comments really helped! to help other potential buyers, lets put in quantitative facts rather than vague "good" or "bad"..

this phone really fits my personality..
basic short calls, sms msgs.. so a 2-day battery life is tolerable
basic camera is ok, i have a "real" digital camera anyway

what software should i download to make it better? thanks!

Guys... Don't be deceived!! People complain about the battery simply because there's nothing else to complain about this phone. This is one of the most powerful and advanced phones available in its range today and is good as any smartphone. And smartphone battery lives are usually much worse!

The only difference i find is that i cant minimise running applications... Which is quite annoyin

You can't play .avi files directly you need to first convert it to 3gpp format with a converting software.

Yes you can set mp3's as ringtones

The phone is well design and fully loaded, but sometimes in between a call if i touch the upper sided from back of the phone (where the antena is) a very sharp Irritating noise comes, just like if you place a mic infront of a speaker.

no this is not a multitasking phone , this is a symbian 40 phone ppl

but you could obiviously run the radio and music player in the backround while texting or emailing
