Great looking phonr but very inpractical, battery back up poor, sound on vids muffled and can hardly here mesage alert tone with volume at max, does anyone know how to resolve this. Not a patch on the 6230i !

hey can someone pls tell me if u can switch the place which files that have been sent via blutooth go? i cnt send anything ovr 7 megs cos it goes straight to the phone memory not memory card

tis is one of the best fones i ever had but i have a question, when i connect the usb and it asks u whether u want a data storage or nokia mode when i choose data storage the fone says u cannot use it for the memory card is being used by another application but no application is running (maybe becoz i installed too much apps before but deleted it all again, can u help me fix this thing, any1?? pls?

well i bought this phone , and wasted my money , to be very frank .this phone missed out a very very basic feature that each phone must have . that is the brightness settings . YES ! i mean you cant set the brightness to high or low , speically incase that you put your phone becides when ur sleeping . the brightness is too high , and sound quality of the mp3s is quite poor . the phone that has put nokia on a back foot . i would recommend to go for a 3250 rather then this . also the cam is not upto the mark , too slow . and the result is not that crystal clear if compared to other 2.0 mp cams .

You people need to stop slating this phone because how ofte do you find a nokia phone where it doesnt crash and it looks really cool aswell. This is the first 1 ive found anyway.

why is it that i cannot save images in the folders that i make in the memory card? its like, when i take a picture, it is automatically saved in the memory card, but i cannot transfer it to a particular folder saved in the memory card ass well. got me so far?

this phone does not live up to the reputation of the 6233
it dosent have a good quality sound and (i cannot believe it) but it dosent even support UTMS

"Nokia user", I don't think that you need to turn off the phone in order to cycle its battery. When you buy the phone; just use up the remaining battery till the phone is about to shut off. Then fully charge the phone and use it until again it's about to shutoff because of low battery. Repeat these steps five or six times. I think this oughta do it. Any comments ??

Ok.
Here it goes....
When I bought it, phone still had some charge in the baterry, I spent that until phone shut down, then 12 hours charging,without turning the ph. on, when 12 hour period passes I turn the ph. on, and 3 times that way. I've completed 3rd cycle 2 days ago, bat. still going strong. This is without music listening, I still haven't bought usb cable, when I do that, I will rock it just to see how it will last. I presume no longer than 2 days.

12 hrs when I get the phone (without turning it on), then use it regularly and when it goes off I charge it again (while it's still off) for another 12 hrs? is the "a cycle"?

this phone sucked.I`m selling cell phones and mored than a half of 6300`s which i already sold has a problem with the memory card.It just dissapear.

Very satisfied, except for the sound quality.
with or without Hand free, its not clear. Same with all NOKIA 6300 :(

Phone is just fine, and battery life is good too, without playig music,moderate talking,playing with camera:) my batery lasted for 5 days, and I initialy charged it 3x12 houurs, phone was shut down ofcourse. Many people fail to form batery propertly. But you also got to have something in mind, this phone is bitchin' and that puts great load on CPU, and then CPU "pulls" the power from baterry, wich had to be small, because of the design.Just look at the newer PC's standard power supply is 500W, just 5yrs ago 350W was enough. For big power you need a lot of juice ;)

I think that this phone is possibly one of the best phones ever made. I mean its not to big its really slimline the features are top notch and to top it all it doesnt crash or reset itself like a lot of other nokias.

I have the 6300 now for about two weeks. I think the fone is really cool but i get very annoyed when every time i try to send or receive messages i get a message telling me not enough memory. Why has this fone got such small memory
