Can anyone tell me the performance of GPRS on this mobile and the battery stamina using the service. I wish to buy this sleek phone after hearing people discuss this feature which I am keen to use.

please let us know how much talk time you get with each complet charge without using too much menue etc.
I get about 90 min.=1&1/2 talk time thanks.

Hi I wanna know howthe camara works with out flash light?how can the camera works in night. is the picture will come properly in dark?

To "real" Nokia user, ur right, the blue lights are wicked cool! I only wish that there was an option for them to always blink! and blink at different speeds to tell u about a missed call or a message..

SO, after all been said -
will the battery last for 4-5 days with 15-20 minutes talks per day and no music/camera/... use at all ? ? ?
everybody talks about the amazing and energy-consuming display, but if I only use the phone for 20 mins. talks per day, the display is on for maybe 5 minutes the most... is tha "energy consuming" at its best???

To nokia user, u can switch them off by editing the profile.
Go to Menu, Settings, Profiles and edit the one you are using by chosing Personalize go down to Light Effects and change to Off. Then Save.
The best thing to do is make your own personal profile by Personalizing the My Style 1 and My Style 2 and giving them the name of your choice.

its nice phone i am using it now from 2 months and no probs its slim and sexy. by the way who said this phone used to come with BLC 3 what i know is tht it alwys came with BLC 4 only.......

Nokia 6300 is coming with BL4C bttery which will give a better life to the fone...previously it was coming with BL3C.

Nokia 6300 is perfect except the camera ,who has 2.0 MP ,that's not enaught ... he should have a 3,2 MP camera and then you can really say it's perfect ,right ?

Guys, please stop bitching about the battery life! Its a slim phone with a slim battery and it has a MAGNIFICENT screen! The best screen on a phone this skinny by far!!! If you use it moderately the battery lasts 2 days, if heavily it will last one day! SO WHAT??
Also for the size of the phone, its camera is quite nice, the images are not good enough to see on your computer screen but great for viewing on the beautiful 16 M colour screen!

You can use any mini USB cable u want, odds are u have a digital camera and yes, you can use the same cable for the phone.
and im getting a 2GB card, ill let u know how it performs;)

Well I have this ph. for 1 week and I am satisfied with the phone as a whole, but I have one problem whenever down nav. key is pressed for the 1st time it makes some "clicky" sound and it's really anoying, after that I still press it for 10-15 times but doesn't make that sound.
Beside that this ph. rules, and it will rule for a very long time. And I have 3 more questions, do I have to buy OEM Nokia mini USB cable, or others work too?Does it(phone) support 2.0 USB?
How phone reacts when it has big(1-2G) and mostly full mem.card? because I hear that phone becomes really slow and kinda retarded.

sometimes says error in connection when i want to make a call, so i have to switch the phone off and on to work. could be the network, hopefully it is coz its such a nice phone.
