this phone is not very good at vibrating, doesnt even satisfy my needs at all.i have to go back to my old phone to finish off because the 6300 justs leaves me waiting for more.

This is the law of tickness mobile.....lower battery...because good display !!! TFT 16M of colors......Little phone = little battery...But good phone !!!

this phnoe has problem in its speaker that must be corrected bcz i have purchsed the same at its peak price but sorry to say i have to sell the same after 2 weeks bcz of the above said reason. and the other reason is that its battery time is very low.
if these two problems are corrected than it would be one of the best models ever introduced by nokia

Well if the battery dosent support the phone then in my opinion its useless to buy it, i will better go for Nokia's E65 or SE W810i cuz it has almost same features along with a good battery backup.
I just cannot understand how come a company like Nokia made such a blunder in selecting a low quality battery for this model

Hi all,
I have the same problem. It seems that whenever I use my Bluetooth it causes a lot of interruptions. I went to the local Nokia store to make an update but the problem remains.

You can buy an extension from a 2.5mm to a 3.5mm slot.
It is dirt cheap.
The only disadvantage is that you cannot use it to answer call. You can still listen to your caller, music, radio. But you need to hold the phone's microphone close to your mouth, otherwise, the caller can't hear to you.

To the guy who is asking :- HOW TO USE THE USB PORT WITHOUT REMOVING THE COVER :-
ANSWER :- BREAK THE COVER. JUST KiDDING:-
Actually, if you look closely on the USB cover, there is a slot on one side of the USB COVER, you can use your finger nails or some instrutment (don't use any sharp instrutment) to push it to open. It is a FLAP-OPEN cover. Once it is open, the cover is "secured" to the lower part of the phone.
I think you must try it a few times to get it to open.

with the suplied BL-4C i get 1 hour to 1&1/2 of talk time with very little menue use.i altered the the BL-5C and ruined it
please explain how you altered the BL-5C,and you went from how much time to how much time thanks.

I got this phone few days ago, and I have to admit it s a nice phone. Only BIG proble (hello Nokia) is the battery. I hav to charge every day, and I dont use the mp3 fuction often.

I get 1 houer to 1 houer & 20 min with each charge no menue use etc.,is this normal?

I've read most of the comment for this NOKIA 6300 and I already used it for almost 4 mths. I agreed that the battery life is shot but with the BL5C which I'm using now, it can easily goes more than two days without having to charge.
Due to the space constrain but need to extend the battery life, my personal opinion, NOKIA should replace the LI-ION battery to LI-POLY. Anyway this is just a suggestion from the consumer and please that this into your consideration.

I have bought this set and its really cool choice but I am facing battery talk time problem. Its no good as I heard from many people that phone battery is showing problems. So any one please update me on this issue ....
