This ph. is really wonderfull. i m using this mob. from last 1 month and havn't face any prob.battery life is good. i can't understand why people here r cry'g for battery life i found it wonderfull it last for 2 day's and that's a fact

Just bought 6300 and am really dis appointed with th battery life. It does not run for a day even. The camera is also worst on this phone.

I think this phone is really good and suitable for those user who are finding for a cool color pixel screen phone.My dad is using it right now and he said he never wants to use other phone rather than nokia

its too good phone... looks are awesome.. just that battery life is a little trouble....harldy lasts a day or may be a half more...

Hi all,
I have been using this phone for abt 3 weeks,
its looks cool and the prob i face til now is the headset volume is too low whn i using it while making calls ,i have to cover my ears while spkin to avoid noice and to hear clearly.The volume loud whn am using MP3 player and reduces little whn using FM and very poor if i use it for making calls.that is for it meant for.!
Also small light in side of the phone is not blinking.do we need to do any setting to invoke it.

This phone is a very good phone, I just happened to get a lemon, I cannot get ANY SUPPORT what so ever from the company I bought it from,and that company advertises on this site. I will be MORE than happy to give their name ,just ask.

Yes! The voice recorder volume is low on this phone, but when I transferred the same file to my 6230i the voice was loud again. Odd??

SUBSTITUTE FOR THE BATERY? some are using modified batery from nokia model with flashlight, it's twice better, but I couldn't get the details

Anyone got problems with the Voice Recorder? Someone test please and let me know. When i record a voice clip, the sound is VERY low even thought i have the phone volume on HIGH. Does anyone else have this problem or do i have a faulty handset?

It has got a USB connection, you can copy paste your files directly from your computer to your 6300 (possible on Windows XP O.S.) and you do not require Nokia Suite. The screen quality is excellent.

To QASIM RIAZ,
I had a SE K750i, i then moved to the Nokia 6300. I personally love the operating system on the Nokia, it is really customisable. In my opinion, the Nokia 6300 is much better.
However, if you are planning on taking photos or recording video, do NOT get the Nokia 6300. With my previous SE K750i, i took 20 pictures in a year and recorded 10 videos in the year. So clearly, i did not need these features on a phone and thats why i prefer the Nokia.
About the sound quality, its very clear but it also sounds a little weird as its only got mono speakers i think? But i think the sound quality is of personal preference. Don't get me wrong, it is crystal clear but also weird coming from a SE K750i and going to a Nokia 6300.

There might be a problem with the handset or it might need a firmware upgrade. I did not find any settings related to the blue flashing lights on the phone. I did not need to change any settings when i got the phone. When i receive a missed call, or i forget to look at a text message, the blue lights 'continously keep flashing' until you look at the missed call or read the message.
