I forgot to point this: 6233 over 6300: Ultra sound (fantastic, loud..whatever u want), 3G, and VGA video recorder. Because 6300 is thiner and can have 1000 contacts, doesn't mean is better than 6233 overall! So stop comparing 6233 with 6300.
Sorry 4 my english..I'm foreign.

I get the same rattle: it's the on/off button at the top of the phone not quite fitting correctly; a bit loose - that's all. A shame but it doesn't spoil what is an excellent phone.

                            SOS!!!
                            To the Nokia 6300 owners:
I've got my phone from an online shop, since it didn't came in vodafone yet. I have a little problem, the seller said every 6300 has: when u shake the phone abit, it does a little noise, near the speaker-in the top of the phone, it sounds like a little stone going around in a soccer ball..I'm not sure if i made myself clear, but could you PLEASE try to see and tell me if your phones do the same thing?(must be silence in the room to hear)
                            MANY MANY THX IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the ones who want to buy 6300:
I've just bought this wonderful phone, I have no problem with the battery(is true, i'm not a bussiness person though), the sound quality is very good, the camera is just great for a 2MP and the screen and design left me speechess. ;+)

the phone no doubt is very good , sleek , trendy and the resolution is awsome but nokia ha to work on its battery back-up. its very poor. all over a cool phone...

"this is a nice phone, but in my opinion nothing special. bat life is also poor. i agree 6131 is better!"

I have never read such rubbish in my life! How can the 6131 and the 6300 even start to be compared?? Oh i know, they are both made by nokia... thats it! 6300 is superior design, metalic features not plastic (drop your 6131 and see how mant imes it doesnt bounce), not a stupid gimmick phone (wow, the button on the hinge makes it flip!) and has far more advanced features and memory, not to mention the 6131 is crap.

seriously, between 6233 and 6300? 6233 is a 3G phone, and the 6300 is not.

i came in with 6230, then moved on to 6230i. then 6233 came and i tot that's the successor to the outstanding 6230i... but, I did not buy it because the design is not to MY taste. too bulky. so i bought 6125. then came the 6300 - i grabbed it at first sight. design is always one of the key decision making criteria for me.

                                      opss.. another typo...

what i meant to type was...

*only 2 ways to xfer files into the PHONE.

only 2 ways to xer files into the file... well 3 actually.

                                        1) via the USB cable.
                                        2) via Bluetooth.

                                        and the 3rd one...

                                        3) microSD card reader! it's the easiest and cheapest way. but you can't synchronize your phone with Microsoft Outlook this way, naturally.
