6300's keypad is big enough for me - in fact, I'd rate it as very comfortable. it's certainly a LOT better than 6230's keypad. if you want big keypads, i suggest getting flip-phones - very big keypads thats extremely confortable.

hey there PZLY does that mean u have to modify the batt ( cut of the top a bit ) or can u just put a bl5c straight into the phone without modifications to the batt ,,
secondly is anyone facing a problem with text messaging , ie : finding the key pad too small , ive been using a 6681 for a year , love the 6300 , used a friends to c it , but was un - sure about weather text input would be comfortable ,,

The Handset is good for it's Slimness and Display, But the battery life is horrible,Instead of placing the blue led on the sides, NOKIA CAN ADD A FLASH LIGHT WITH THE CAMERA.Mp3 quality is good with equalizer and playlist, but sometimes makes us think of a better headset. But for the price of Rs.11,500 approx $250(in India),it's a good buy.

Hi to All again,
Don't worry about the steel cover when using BL5C, it will still fit and locks-up properly.
Ciao...

Hi to All,
BL4C can be replaced with BL5C with minor modification on the battery. You have to cut the top end of the BL5C to fit on the handphone housing. There's no problem with performance.
I used to have 2 days standby with BL4C, now it's about 3 to 4 days for BL5C installed.
I hope this helps... Good Luck!

lots of current nokias uses BL4C battery. even my bulky 6125 uses that battery. gives me ~2-3days of average use. a tip to save battery - stop playing with the phone :-) the display sucks the life out of the battery. if batt life is very important, get nokia 1112, it can last 5-7days. even up to 9days if u're usage is low.
the 6300 is bundled with Nokia Stereo Headset HS-47 (brushed blackish metal) here in Malaysia.

In reference to the battery issue, it's very simple!
The phone is slim and hence a slim battery. The battery is right up against the metal cover, so no you can't fit a bigger battery into the same space! Don't you think Nokia would have done that if they could.
