wow!!!i just got a look at the phone...its looks really petite and classy with its steel body...and the features it has, will surely make it a best seller...and let me tell you...the 16M color screeen is really awesome...and so is the music player...and 2 MP cam should also more than suffice for those impulse shots...

Guys this phone is great, I want one
The clean design using stainless steel, cool!
Good features for the size and the display rocks :) 2gb for music and other media.
apparently feels perfect in the hand and is easy to use

Seems very thin phone with a bigger display. Phone book capacity should be more. Is it possible to increase capacity of phonebook?

>>such a nice screen and NO "document viewer" application... such a shame...
no doubt, that there will be document reading (doubtful about editing) support, this 16M 240x320 screen rocks, but one thing is gonna be a terrible lack, talking about this sick "shortlife" battery bl-4c, jesus cries

to 786, do u even know what stereo widening function is?
it is somewhat one of the biggest wrongs in nokia,
if u put up a song to play too loud, creaks will be much more visible! so, overall, 6280 and 6233 is better.

This model is cute and 2007 looks like slim phones are in. I am not a heavy cellphone user so the specs are ok with me except for the network, I wish they made it a quad band :(

Well, I don't know how "boring" it is, but it looks nice. Not all people use their phones for entertainment or 3G features (which is why not to say a slick way of operators to drain more $$$ from clients). I say it looks quite classy.

Im glad Nokia made a slim phone. Yes its a bar, yes its boring, but there was a comment on here that said somewhere in the lines of "Find beauty in simplicity"
ITS A NOKIA folks, you want funky design you don't look for Nokia. If you want the power and functions of excellent menu system and OS then you look for NOKIA.
Give me features of Nokia that are almost unmatched than styling any day.
my 2 cents.

According to Nokia, 250 euros ($300), and it looks more like the Nokia 8800 than like N73.

Nokia cameras are never good but Nokia menus rule the best out every phone maker Nokia makes the best menu systems -- sonyerricsons have 1 advantage the camera but sonyerricsons menus are rubbish same case with samsung and motorola but Nokia cameras are excellent its just that they should have more functions like flash and autofocus on every fone

this phone looks like the nokia n73 but without the camera in front. running out of design? :) nokia recently has been playing cath up in terms of design. they're playing cath up in clamp-type phones, they have not realy catch up yet and now they're adding slim phone to their must do list with this phone. well, better late than never. you can have all the best features in the world in your phone but if it is going to look like a brick and it will cost a an arm and a leg, don't wonder why people will shun your phone and go to better design phone that cost almost half and eventhough has less features.
think lg chocolate, moto L6/L7 or even v3x which is cheaper than most if not all nnokia's 3g phones but all three have great aappealing design something nokia does not have the luxury of having.
