this phone looks like the nokia n73 but without the camera in front. running out of design? :) nokia recently has been playing cath up in terms of design. they're playing cath up in clamp-type phones, they have not realy catch up yet and now they're adding slim phone to their must do list with this phone. well, better late than never. you can have all the best features in the world in your phone but if it is going to look like a brick and it will cost a an arm and a leg, don't wonder why people will shun your phone and go to better design phone that cost almost half and eventhough has less features.
think lg chocolate, moto L6/L7 or even v3x which is cheaper than most if not all nnokia's 3g phones but all three have great aappealing design something nokia does not have the luxury of having.

6300 will be great for my secondary phone (primary phone is S60 Nokia, of course :) ).
It is all what I've been waiting for since 6100: thin, light, well built, great screen, decent specs.
Can't wait til february !

How could you "just" purchase it if it's not already on the market?
It is something "stinky" in Denmark :))

Hey guys, I purchased the phone, it is an awesome phone, no doubt about it...
-------------------------------------------
Total BS. Phone is still in active development and will not be released until early next year.

2. One post already mentioned an updated version of this phone...that hasn't come out yet. What gives?
-------------------------------------------
There is another slim Nokia also in active development that will be announced soon. It is full 3g compliant and is effectively the sister phone to the 6300. Can say no more.
ps. 6300 really is rather nice to use indeed.
