It is slow and not working very well in general. This I could live with for the great benefit of not having a smartphone. Sound is decent when not using the speaker. But the worst thing is the keypad. Sometimes a push gives no response, sometimes one push gives double response. Writing is a nightmare. A short sms will take a long time and lots of frustration to write, since you have to correct every second character. This I can not take.

Can NOT do email with my provider as id does not provide a secure loging
The Nokia 6300 4G does not have login 0aut2 which is used by more and more email
providers for a more secure login
Provided since 2015 on an Iphone SE, it still , 7 years later is not installed in the 6300 4G
I contacted Nokia . No update is scheduled

The revival of a legendary 6300 seemed to be a great idea on paper, with a somehow powerful processor and a promising OS (for these nuggets ofc). In reality the device isn’t a bad one inside, but ugly as hell outside ngl. Ye olde 6300 had a metal frame with a removable metal backplate which felt really nice in hands, new one, on the other hand, offers you a cheap looking full plastic body. 1 step forward and 2 backwards as for me.

Loudspeaker is not loud enough for a elder and KaiOS needs lots of improvements like in basic apps like contacts. It doesn't make use of the keyboard at all. You have to always go to the search bar and select it and type the name. You cannot just type the name as soon as you open the app. Lack of these kinds of minor features makes it un intuitive to use. Nokia please go back to making those flagship Symbian Feature phones.

I know this phone is not much advanced in many things in USA but for traveling overseas is perfect. I totally recommended

If you need a basic phone, there are much better options. I was really wanting to like this phone. But Kai OS is hard to use (convoluted) and overall hardware is poor (feels "toy" cheap). Screen is super faded, sound is terrible, navigation goofy, key icons are bad, and reception is horrible with a line-of-sight tower. But there is one major bug, you can't change default speed dial "1" (marked as voicemail) for your voicemail short-code. Defaults to 186. If you need 123, forget it. Support can't fix this. It's a software "feature". Now for good...dual sim, but you'll likely break thin rear cover and cheesy clips if you change them more than a few times. Yeah, that's it.
Overall, I have owned smaller candy bar phones that were lowly 2G with better reception, easier to navigate, better sound quality and smaller with bright and clear screens, well marked keys, and better battery life. Plus, got them all for less than half the price!
