Music quality is better with your own headphones. Though its probably the worst thing about this phone the music is a little harsh sounding. I also just updated to new firmware and i notice no difference nothing new except slightly faster in menus.

5130 is better?... more5130 is a music phone...has dedicated music keys and audio chip and produces awesome sound quality..6303 donot use a dedicated audio chip, but still has decent sound.
price difference is around INR 2300.
both uses same processor and ram.
screen, cam and built quality(metal body) is better in 6303.

Hello, I'm Atanas from Bulgaria and I have this phone for a second day. I'm very pleased with it. Perfect handset for this price. Perfect handset for some users at all...
I have only one remark: when I attach a photo to a contact in my phonebook and when I recieve an upcoming call from a person with photo attached, the photo appears on the screen incorrectly resized to a squere ratio. As you know the photos resolution has never square ratio.
So... can someone halp me to solve this? Or there is no solution.
P.S: I uptaded my phone to the last sw version.

Internal memory is only 20 mb, battery life is short, and it is not showing all song in the media player although i update it every time.

I have bought 6303 for 2 weeks. Everything is good except volume ring tone is rather low. Camera is far better than 6300.
Verdict: a good phone at good price!

i purchased it @ Rs 7700/- in india.
+pros:
1. large display 240x320 px
2. free USB data cable & 1GB Sd card in sales pack
3. small size & light weight
-cons:
1. poor camera, equivalent to 6300's 2Mpx camera
2. slow response while browsing folders
3. no 3G
4. no side camera key
5. uncomfortable / cramped keypad

Another software version is available since yesterday. The version is 8.90. I updated and still have the annoying sound. Please put a message here when you get your phone back. Maybe yours will be fixed and we can find out where the sound is comming from.
