Nokia 6303 is actually available for 8k in India. Checked it on some site where it was for sale. Not sure about the price of 6700 though.
I got SE 550i for sale, 2 keys don't work. Repair cost Rs600. :( I also have Nokia 6300 for which I need to change the damaged LCD display + body and will make me poor by Rs.1500.
So guys suggest me on repairing or exchanging both mobiles and buying new one.

Sean, 26 Jul 2009Which software do you have? Mine is the latest software Mad... morei don know if the backround noise is due to a software or hardware issue, i donknow which version of software was loaded in the phone, i've sent it for service now, and heard that they have reinstalled the software.
I have 2 questions
1) where can i find the version of the software that is loaded.
2) It has been 3 weeks since i gave the phone for service(its within the first 28 days) I purchased the phone from carphone house on 10 july
Their customer service is frustrating. they informed that they could give the phone back in 2 weeks, yesterday they informed that they can't give me a proper date when i could get the phone back. how many days do they(carphonewarehouse) normally take for checking for fault and returning thephone?
I still do not know if its going to make that anoying noise again.

anny comments bout its UI.. is it slow as some ppl complaint? n hw bout its camera clarity..i knw its nt as 6700 coz dats 5mp.. but as per 3.2 mp..is it wrthy?
n lastly hw did u find d build quality..of the phone..is d silver one better or d black one?
is d black metallic of one d same quality as 6300 black..?? is it durable or it mite get peeled off soon?

Its a great phone for the money, camera not that great but evrything works fine, its just the 6700 has better screen alot clearer, build is better, you can feel it in the hand, 6700 is def better but its all about money in the end.

Whats the actual price after ... moreI had this the 6303 for a couple of weeks but found it a pain whilst texting, i sold & went for the 6700, much better phone alround really, better camera, texting easy, fast whilst browsing etc, if you can afford a bit more go for this the better of the 2.

Just bought this set yesterday. The design n its specs r outstanding. The performance is more than what i was expecting. In Pakistan there r no issues with this set.

Hi,
I have bought this phone today...
and i found it very cool... as it has all the features one looks for..
One Disadvantage:..
The sound volume is not good enough...
although.. the sound in the headphones is vry loud..!!
Overall it is a great phone one should go for it..
as it has a big 2.2" display.. which makes it a must buy phone in a low cost.!!

I'd like to state that I got this phone a few weeks back and I absolutely love it!
It's picture quality is great, display and feaures.
I like the feel, look and handling.
One negative though is is the internet tends to be slow at times, but it looks good - websites are really good!!

6303_user :-(, 30 Jul 2009this is useless phone, i was going for SE C510, but wrongly... moreNo this phone is not slow its just you. I have this phone with latest firmware & its much faster at navigating menus & multitasking than the c510 I had before.Trust me the c510 is a poor camera in nightshots had poor signal in high coverage area cos the antenna is at the bottom of the phone call quality is muffled cant hear properly & when memory card fills up & you try multitasking you just watch the phone slow to a crawl. Same old Sony Ericsson. My 6303 is no way slow & camera pics outdoors are sharp when viewed on pc all you gotta do is tweak the settings & hold steady. Video recording is far better that the c510. I have not had one single crash or problem with this phone unlike the c510.Nokia still top Sony Ericsson still 5th. Oh dear.
