can nayone tell me, how is the keypad on this phone? i text a lot, and need a very good keypad (for me good were on nokia 6070, 6233 and now i own 6300, which is also ok...). any help?

first i wanna say thanks nokia for all those mobile phones.
now i want to talk about the nokia 6085 my best phone forever it is so closer to me .
the nokia 6085 is one of nokia phones wich is very strong body and heavy duty also .
i can find all i need in my 6085 the power to work and also the entrtainement even the e-mail the browser and the powerfull bluetooth 2.0 .
at least i want to tell evreybody :" try the nokia 6085 you can count on it "

+amazing speakers which cannot be campared with 6303 AT ALL!
+3g for high speed d'loading
+dedicated camera key
-no 3.5mm audio jack
-no micro usb (hardly matters)
Nokia 6303
+better screen
+better UI
+better camera with flash & autofocus(which is hardly an advantage)
+3.5mm audio jack
+micro usb
-no dedicated camera key
-no 3g so you wont use high speed d'loading speed
My Suggestion: Don't even look at this mobile if you are looking for an upgrade for Nokia 6233. If you do, you'll regret!

I am planning to buy this phone. But i ... more1. The speaker is fine in my opinion.
2. yes, it can be used as a modem. speed cannot be very good since it is not 3G and must be rather expensive to connect a pc to surf the net with EDGE. If you want speed find a phone with 3G or WLAN.
3. No camera button on the side. In my opinion the camera is useless since it makes bad pictures.
4. Yes it is easy to text.
5. In my opinion the phone doesn't worth the money since the camera is useless it means you pay it for nothing.
6. Try Nokia N78... it is more expensive but has a lot more features, 3G, WLAN, better camera. It has tiny buttons and texting might be difficult on a N78.
If you buy 6303 make sure you check it in the shop. Mine made a background noise when the lights are on.... and I read that it is not the only one. It has to be quiet in the room to hear the sound (you won't hear it on the street)

Dear 6303 Users,
I am planning to buy this phone. But i need some clarifications. I hope you people will help me out.
1) I am currently Using Nokia 6233. As you all know, 6233 has an awsome quality sound. can anyone tell me how is the sound of 6303 as compared to 6233? its Clarity, Loudness, 3D effect, Stereo or mono etc? (i am asking about speaker phone, not about the headset.)
2) Can this phonebe used as Data Modem? i.e. its downloading speed?
3) is there dedicated Camera key on it right side? as its there in many Nokia phones to shot pictures in landscape.
4) are the keys easy enough for txting? as 6233, 6030 provide awsome txting keys to teh user.
5) is it worth to its Price? 13.5K PKR?
6) Any other Better option to upgrade from Nokia 6233?
(My requirements are;
-Good Speaker Sound
-Better Loudness
-Dedicated Camera Key
-Data Modem (Better Downloading Speed)
-Easy Texting Keys
-Bettery Life)

i have a few problems with 6303,speed dialing numbers after while are loost by themselves,mp4 files can't been reproduced.radio menu is too complicated,if you want to tour on from headphones to speacerphones,need e lot of times.i hope with next softwere it will be resolved.other thinks are cool,display,cam.,etc

I bought new Nokia 6303, but i got hands free with 2.5mm pin in box but the set's jack is 3.5mm ?? y so
is any body else face this kind of problem ??

After you made this setting, you go back to the main screen, after a while , there will be a digital clock with date show up on the screen
