The 6310i is a good and resistaint phone, NOKIA should reintroduce the model on the market... It will have instant success. I know hundreds of persons who would buy the phone. I had a 6310i and it had a lifetime of over 1000 hours and il still runs(i sell it to a friend) If nokia would reintroduce 6310i on the market again I will buy 100% this beautifull phone.

its the best phone ever. nokia should continue its sales and just add more memory and speed. My phone has fallen in the tub and it still runs; also it has fallen on cement pavement and the cover has many bruises, but the phone still runs.
Even the design is so beautiful. The size is perfect. not too small, not too big. Nokia, please reintroduce the 6301i.

In Australia and I would imagine elsewhere, the 6310i is available BRAND NEW (yes, that's right) from Mercedes dealers, as of September 2008. They are being manufactured specifically for Mercedes and their customers, but at a premium price.... approx $850Aud. All of the instructions come in German but of course you can easily change the language in the phone.

This nokia 6310i is the phone for all seasons. I have been using mine since 2003. It has fallen into the tub, and surprisingly after drying up, it works again! It has fallen on cement floors many times, and it still works. It looks sexy and is just the right size; not like those teeny weenie newer phones. If Nokia is samrt enough to con tinue to sell this phone, I am sure there will be many buyers.Just increase the memory, and put a camera and enhance its email capability. Thats all that is needed to make this super phone a phone to keep for a lifetime---well I guess Nokia does not like this cuz they wont have repeat business? So they kill a good product and come out with lots of crap to the delight of its competitors.

My 6310i was one my most favorite phones, with battery life of 7 days standby/3 days talk time. Calendar, infa-red & blue tooth. Only thing it doesn't have is a colour screen or a camera. Id probably be still using it today if i hadn't lost it.

I've had a Nokia 6310i for about 4-years. My friend from Germany gave it to me. I love it. One year ago, I had to replace the battery as the original one refused to accept a charge rendering it useless. I was able to puchase a replacement battery on line for a decent price and have continued to use it ever since. I will swap between my Nokia 6100 and this model as I like them both. Great call quality (most people do not believe that I am on a cell phone when I am talking to them) and, reception is very good. The phone is physically larger than most of my other phones so a pouch to strap it on to your belt is a worthy investment. Not bad in a jacket pocket buy a bit too large to simply stick in your pants pocket every day.

One more thing. as an addition to a previous post I wrote. I ask all of you at this gsmarena site: can we organize to find a true successor of the 6310i? A true one. Is it possible to define a recent Nokia phone device to replace the 6310i? I hope we, together, can post pros and cons, arguments and the question that will be a fun to explore too. Is it an E51? A hint more? It could be the E55, announced at MWC in Barcelona? Let the games begin. A true 6310i successor is ?

I always love to read gsmarena posts. Specially to see "the clash of the Titans", the owners of the legendary 6310i. I have never wrote a post before but I was inspired last night at the coffe with my friend. With this phone in my hands even got a bet. If I succeed to get and send an e-mail, I will have a coffee. Guess what? We all know the answer :). This phone has come to the point where it enters the myth domain. Such a fun to see the posts, being sent in march 2k9 and the legend was discontinued 5 years ago. Yes, yes, 5 (five) years ago. Even the competition and the owners of different other phone brands respect this connecting device. It is not important if the new phones are better or worse, the point is that we love this phone and the fame it has is fascinating. Thank you, all of you who still have somthing to say about this phone. Thanks to all of the competition and the opponents, the battle is better if we all take part in it. (this speach started to remind me of the Oscar annual award :):). 6310i surely deserves a one. Nokia, thank you too. :)
