I wouldn't even compare this to the E90 or N95, but it was the N95 of it's day. I still see businessmen using this phone or the 6230i, proves that Nokias are built to last alongsie Blackberrys. You don't see professionals using the IPhone 3G!

Actually I refrain my statement, I've actually managed to have a go with this phone from a friend of mine today and whoa, the interface and usability is superior to today's confusing smart phone computers. OK, it lacks the MP3 and Camera, but the feel and quality is better than the 5800 Tube and it's just so easy to use. This is a true classic and just love the blue monochrome screen, still looks classy.

I think not for a number of reasons. I'm one of the many who are glad to see the back of obsolete ancient antiques such as the 6310i and the 3310/30 models, yes they were user friendly and yes, they did the basics better than any other phone to this date even but err.....i'll think i'll stick with present superior technology thank you very much like 98% of the developed world. No offense to you or anything, you probably treasure antiques and maybe new phones are soulless to you. It's like an old classic car vs new computer car, majority will always call the old model a classic with plenty of character and the new a soulless machine.

I am a fan of this fone and i m absolutely tired wid my e90 ,these days i m begining to think the old days were better...do u remember nokia 8110 tht was my frst fone...u seen matrix in which neo gets a msg from morpheus..
atleast i m not the only nerd of fones gud to see sum1 else

no other phone of not only nokia but of any brand claimed to be like or near to 6310i..
what else u expect from a phone... ?

I have one 6310i since 2003, and even now the battery works very good - stand by about 14 days, and talk time about 8 days. This phone is like a Mercedes S classe in the phone world. I hope Nokia will decide to remake him.

I use 6310i Nokia phone as a HSDPA modem at home. But compared to the HUAWEI E220 USB modem being touted by local service providers as the solution to better internet connectivity, I think 6310i is several 'generations' ahead. The HUAWEI modem delivers a speed of only 236.8Kbps on an EDGE network, while 6310i can reach a maximum speed of 921.6Kbps on the same. Really, the manufacturers of 6310i need to rescind their decision about having discontinued it!

LEGEND! You can get this phone in Romania for 100 euros in a really good condition. I`m not 2 crazy about it but i think i`ll buy one. Don`t know why but i`ve started loving old phones. This summer i`ve bought an 8310 and an 8210. The 8310 works just great with a new battery but i need a new original housing. The 8210 is in a bad shape and i`m searching for another one.
