Probably the best business phone ever made, and still in demand despite being out of production for a year or so.
The gold and black version of the 6310i is exceptionally ugly to look at, the silver one is much better, but looks aside the 6310i does pretty much everything you really need.
It has a long, long battery life. The keypad is well spaced, simple to use and very ergonomic. It has Bluetooth and GPRS, and it's as tough as old boots. It's a nice size to use too, it's much longer than most "modern" phones which feels about right.
Sure, the 6310i lacks lots and lots of features - but most business users don't want cameras, MP3 players or even polyphonic ringtones. They didn't in 2002 when it was launched, and coming in to 2006 they still don't.
There are just a couple of things that could be better. As I said, it's not an attractive phone, so it could use a makeover. A colour display would be nice, such as the 208x208 pixel one in the 6230i. Battery life is getting better all the time, so a phone the same size with a better battery would be awesome.
Perhaps.. just perhaps, one day Nokia will realise why people still love their 6310is!

this phone rocks!!!! i have another phone SE p910i and when it comes to batt life, i think this phone still leaves all others behind!!! GET THIS PHONE!!!! IF U CAN FIND ONE NOWADAYS

I've been using this phone for over 2 years now and the phone works smoothly as a phone.
PROS:
-Excellent sound quality
-Excellent microphone
-Great battery life (talking on the phone about 30 min a day, and I don't charge it or even switch it off for 4 days!)
-Phone is long and with very well organized buttons ( makes you feel like you're holding a phone , not a toy).
CON:
There is none!
