Just thought y'all would like to know that I've just reached the 5th anniversary with this phones grandfather - the 6210 - and I have never had as much of an unscheduled shut down with it. Still the original battery although, through the wares of time, I now have to charge it once a week. C'mon people. Try get a week out of present handsets. Nokia should relaunch this range of phone. Don't need a camera. Got one. Don't need a music player. Got one. Everything else I need that a phone may or may not offer I have!!! I need a phone for phone calls!!

got v7.oo software got new battery keep me going for next couple years the best nokia to date. better than 6230i battery poor on that model. come on nokia bring out a phone to equal or better this great creation of yours.like it alot no nonsense approach to a truly great buisness class phone.

This is truly the best buisness phone ever built.A friend of mine has one,and even if it's like a slim brick it's got the best battery !! His is about 3 years old, 500 hours on it and the battery lasts for about 2 weeks ! the bluetooth is good for car use.And on top of all that we sometimes play catch with the darn thing out of boredom,allways dropping it all over the place,it's like a hammer :)Nuffin happens to it.It's sole purpouse is to talk on it,as it doesn't have colours,camera,mp3 etc,and you can't send much to it from newer phones,you don't really impress your friends with it :) nontheless, thumbs-up @ nokia for making imho the only worth-while phone.

this is the greatest fone ever built. its a very powerful and useful business tool. i get calls all the time from different clients from around the world i all i can say is this is the only fone that has lived up to my standards. i once had an s700i but i sold it. instead, i kept this one because i know that it has satisfied my needs for basic communication. actually i have a story for this one. my boss is a gadget freak. buys anything that is new on the market especially cellphones. then he saw my fone and borrowed it for a while (i had a spare 6210). and guess what? he was looking for the same fone and even asked me if i was selling mine! and after a week or two, he also got the same fone and started telling to his friends that this fone is truly a power toy for businessmen!

I just bought this phpone for the third time.For battery life it is the best phone. I tried many phones with the camera and their batteries last long about 2-3 days. But Nokia 6310i will last long at least one week.I used ths phone. Very simple to use. I definitly recommend this phone.

have this phone for wuite a while now. i went to hongkong last week and left my other unit (same model) at home fully charged. i got back guess what? the cel is still turned on only half the batt depleted and the only time it was fully drained was last night. STANDBY TIME IS AWESOME PREOPLE!!!! i suggest u get this phone if ur a serious businessman or an on-the-go person who gets calls all the time. SIMPLY THE BEST!!!

Truly the best ever phone created bu Nokia. Forget the latest colour, Memory saving, polyphonic camera phones, for everday hardcore use you cannot fault with the 6310i. Evber wondered that the phone cost more used (old) in some places than it did went it was on sale several years back. I have two myself and testify that this phone is without a shadow of doubt the pinnacle of Nokia engineering - PS: the bloke who decided to discontinue this tem should have a catscan to see if he has any brain !!

It truly the best phone ever made!
I own very similar model 6340. Both phones are the best in the cellular world. They both look identical with identical fetures.
Only two small differences:
6310i (triband international)
6340(GSM 1900, TDMA 800/1900 for use in the United States only)
-The standby battery time:
on 6310i - 17 days
on 6340 - 25 days
These two models are the best as phones for a simple reason:
No Blue tooth crap, no color screen, no bullshit 640/480 or 1.3 megapix camera (without optical zoom!), and no cheap speaker or cheap FM radio filled into these phones!
THEREFORE:
The phones have: Clearest difital sound quality of all other Nokia models (except 3310 or 3390 models)
Strongest standby life!
Easy menues
And the simpliest and greatest design.
-Loud and clear Ringers (normal, not bullshit poliphonic).
Nokia would of course sucseed more if do this 6310i model today just with one little change : at least 252k tft color screen (bellow 252k is bullshit).

The best phone that I have ever owned, yesterday I fitted a new chrome facia which looks brill but I have lost the alarm and ringtones. Any Ideas?....Please email if you can help.....it must be something simple.....Thanx....Bernard
