I had the 6310i for three months and I didn't like it.GPRS was okay, but the data interchange between it and my POCKET PC was shitty (only 13 kbps, although the phone is HSCSD compatible).A friend offered me a 6210 and a 7110 for it and I gave it away.

i think it is a pity that you have to lock the keypad with a *. Panasonic works with a code. This is much better when you forget your phone somewhere. If it is 'on'(wich is often the case), non one else can use it if he(she) hasn't got the code.

currently the latest firmware is V 4.80... it will fix all the bugs as well as give more extra: concatenated SMS (up 'till 460 characters per SMS)...

I think that you have to go back to the store with your phone, because i've got the 6310 and the 6310i, both since february, and there are no troubles with my inbox and receiving or sending messages.
You've just got dum luck.
My phones are just allright.
greatings to you all.

one more thing... why it takes so long to send an SMS message (i've tried with 3 different service providers). btw, why does the text is limited to 160 characters only..?? can it be upgraded to the new tech of 760 characters in the near future?? and that email is just another sms with the different format isn't it? why can it handles the POP3 feature..?? well...no phone is perfect enough to fulfils all the needs in the world...lol...

I'm now using a 6310 and very satisfied with the phone. I'm sure the 6310i is more perfect. I do only hope that the display screen of 6310i is a dust proof.

All the little toy phones are useless when you need a serious business phone that can plug straight in to a proper car kit with outside antenna and not go flat on you half way through the day. The Nokia 6210 / 6310 type phones are the only "real" phones on the market. I just threw my Siemens SL45 in the bin after having it for 3 months it shitted me so much.

Good phone, the PC suite is one of the best I have used (apart from the 9210 one) and good up grade from the 6210, wap is cool both on grps and normal.
