Has anyone succeeded playing videos with resoulution higher than 176x144 on that phone ? I'm trying, and I can only get the sound playing, no picture if >176x144. That's sick. My software version is 04.84 and I saw on nokia website that there's an update .. Does it solve this problem ?

I pressed move numbers by mistake on my phone!!!! Now they have disappeared from my phonebook. Also - they are still on my phone somewhere but I can't find them AND when I go to save my numbers they save somewhere that isn't my phonebook (and not my SIM either). Can anyone help with this predicament because I would prefer not to stop using it because it won't save any numbers. Pleasepleasepleaseplease help someone!!!!!

Whats going on with the battery life gripes? Ive had this phone a month now. Use it for loads of calls and texts everyday. Battery life is great. 4 days between charges. Leave the bluetooth off unless you need it. Leave the GPRS off unless you need it. And use the power saver and sleep options. Bingo! Speaker is great. Screen is great. Cant fault it EXCEPT theres no memory card slot. Its a cracker!

had this phone a year and is probably the worst phone that I have ever had. turns itself off ,battery life is rubbish and now doesn't have a ring tone! have to rely on the vibrate and can't upgrade until june.

The Nokia 6500c is a great little slim phone ii love it!! Takes great photo's & holds alot of the music ii like to take on the go!! Just with that they would update the model & give some more memory or a space for a memory card so then it can hold more than just 1GB.. Other than that II LOVE MII 6500c!!!

Had the mob 2 days now from 02 uk in pink, lovely phone, loud ringing volume, good enough pics, very pleased for now but would be nice if they could upgrade the memory & bring another 6500c updated.

i love this phone - my favourite nokia phone of all time. was just wondering, seeing as nokia announced an upgraded version of the 6300 in the form of 6700, will the 6500 classic be upgraded too do you think? I think the 6300 and 6500 came out almost the same quarter didn't they?

I love this phone. Charge lasts for days (even with Bluetooth on). Camera is excellent (tho the delay between button press and shot is sometimes annoying). Crystal clear earpiece and the ring/alert volumes are great. Shame that the storage is low, but for a simple, easy to use phone with a slick case design... it's the dogs danglys!!

Worse phone I've ever had - Changed the battery twice, freezes continually, overheats and constantly switches on and off. In 18 months its been repaired twice. Battery needs to be charged virtually every day.
Finally due to software problems it packed up for good the day before Im due to travel! Bought E51 instead - What a lovely phone - a Rolls Royce in comparison to a broken down old banger!

ali, 20 Jan 2009hi guyz i want your opnion do think i should by this phone.... morethe phone is good go for it and you wont regret. iv had it for a year now and it has not given me any problems. its easy to use and worth the price.
