Neil, 19 Jun 2008I'm having a problem connecting to my Motorola blue tooth h... moreI am also having problems with bluetooth and this handset. This is my second handset as I had to exchange it. The first handset was terrible for interference and cutting out although the bluetooth worked ok on it. The second handset is a bit better although the bluetooth will not connect. Have e-mailed noikia direct to try to find a solution

this phone is both classy and stylish, it also oozes quality as soon as you pick it up. I`ve had this phone for about 3 month and cannot fault it eccept for the short battery life wich lasts a day or two, but i experianced worse. now i`ve had a few phones as well as this one in the past few month (lg ku990,samsung soul, and ericsson k850i) and none can quite compare, fair enough they have 5mp and touch screens but when it comes to style and quality theres no match for the 6500 classic. i would also like to add that the mp3 feature is absolutely incredable.with super loud speaker ,1gb internal memory, easy to use, and very sleek design even nokia themselves are in for a great struggle to design a better phone. 10/10 from me.

I'm having a problem connecting to my Motorola blue tooth headset. The phone isn't finding the headset, I am following the instructions. Menu > settings > Connectivity > Bluetooth > Search Audio enhanc, howver this still isn't finding it. The headset has before on previous Nokia and Sony Ericsson. COuld anyone help me with this??

Change from Dual mode to just GSM.

I boght this phone a week but im having a problem of it gets restart if i talk much like 20 to 30 mins dose any one having this sort of problems ??

the 6500 classic is wonderful but there is only one problem which is in it's battery, 6500 classic's battery is so weak 2 dayz maximum then u need to recharge...

The Nokia 6500 classic, 7900 Crystal Prism and 8800 Arte are the only Nokias which are worthy.

Hayesy, 06 Jun 2008i've always been a nokia customer and previously had a 6300... moreThe first 5 minutes you cannot turn it on but then you can once it gets enough 'juice' to power-up.

Now I have read all your opinions about this phone...And for all you people who i thinking about buying one...I can only say, that there will always be many opinions about phones in general. Just as many as there are people...every individual has there own opinion cause what they seek in a phone or what they are use to...
I have this phone for 3 months now. I bought it for its looks and style (I have the golden one). Yes the battery is not the best in the world, but pictures are great, keys are great and the loadspeaker/ringtones is out of this world...and trust me, I have had several diffenerent phones until now: motorola, sony ericsson, siemens and of course nokia.
My best advise is: go to a store and test it for your self and see if it´s for you before you by it.

got the phone today in bronze color - much prettier than the black one btw. no fingerprints on the back. the phone is amazing. slim, sleek, very stylish. obviously not a tech-gem but i'm using it as a secondary phone and it's serving its purpose without flaw. definetly a "recommend to a friend" phone!!!!

The phone is really classic, slim, light and have a lot interesting features. Easy to operate.
