this phone is slicked and stainless. camera nearly d same with my canon3.2mp. sound ok security kool. and finally this phone is really a business phone. if u r a moblie business woman/woman this phone is for you

Hey guys! I'm thinking of getting this phone or SE W980.
The thing that's keeping me back is the SAR value. Is it too high? Does it affect us in a very bad way? I'm no expert, so i would appreciate it if someone could enlighten me.
And i've also heard people complain about the battery.

I got the phone a few days back.The sound is not that great and the volume is at it's max.Is there a solution for this problem?

Hello every one, This is Deepak (India), I am also using this mobile phone and guys i must tell you one thing every one has a different experiend in that but i am really very happy i have a wonderful experience of that and i am using this mobile phone since last 1 year and i still not facing any single problem. so donot hassitate to purchase the mobile phone.

I know it is hard to decide whether you will get this phone or not. With mine, I got it this month, around 1 October. Since then I never had any problems at all. Mine is also made in China. I think all of the Nokia phones now are all made in china. But as what I said, all we have to do to make our phone lasts long is to take much care about it. I also have heaps of phones, all nokia. Tried other brands but I didn't like them at all. with Nokia they are very user friendly.
I got mine with optus for $30 plan for 24 months. This time, I've been using it and calling my mum overseas on a Video Call. Just this morning I did call her again on a Video Call and she said that the quality of the camera is really great, very clear..:)
If you are really in doubt about the phone's problems, I will say when you sign up for the plan, make sure to include INSURANCE with it so that, if anything happens, they will replace your handset. That's what I did. With mine, the agent adviced me to have the insurance so that if I will accidentally poured water or thrown it in the water/pool, they will replaced it immideately.
I am not telling you to go and get it. It's all up to you. I am telling you this because I am happy with my 6500 slide phone.:)

I'm seriosly considering buying this phone through a cap plan with Three in Australia...
I'm a Nokia fan and It seems like a good value phone for the $29 cap, but I've read some concerning comments on here. I enquired with 3 to see where their 6500 slides are made and they confirmed they were made in China... Is this bad - Can anyone give me straight up advice?

I'm sure that Nokia produces nice and durable phones. i know there were problems with the old phones, but nowadays the problems are gone. If you still have problems with your Nokia 6500 slide, just go to the authorised service and update it's software. Then it should work smooth. I just bought one and I will start using it. I'm sure there will be no problems with it if I will take good care of it.
