i have a 2 gig card in my phone but its not coming up is there a special way you have to put it in or activate it??

Is it like a small screen protector that you attach to the opening of the camera in the back cover? Is it specifically made for the 6500 slide? Please let me know. I'd like to put one on my 6500 slide.

Sold it for n82 .... but guys bleive me i miss my old 6500s its moooooore elegant and beautifull than others ... i miss my babae ;-(

Can som1 help me, becoz i've encountered a problem w/ its usb connector i cant safely remove it an error says generic device cannot be rmove becoz it still accessing even though i've already done and exit the pc suite..pls pls help me thank you very much

One of the best phones ouyt there i would say.
The camera and sound system is good.
No problems with it. To those out there who have problems with the ringtones being switched to normal back whenever u assign one, the solution is move the ringtones u wanna use to phone memory. Keep the rest in the memory card. Same goes to the themes.
And for ur info, check the back casing whether it is inserted properly to the phones coz the if the back cover is not inserted properly ur memory card wont be detected.
There's no fault with the phone its just u must know what the do's and dont's!
Good phone for as u can purchase it on;y for RM900 / US300. Worth all d money!

I think Nokia 6500s is not really good.. because I've used it. It often gets trouble. My friend uses this type too, and the problem is same..
Maybe, the design is good enough but the performance is not good. So, if you want to buy, please think again!!...

i surrender dat i never go crazy 4 nokia(cos,i hate it!) but,its strength wen i go thru gsmarena i found 6500 attracting me.so,i think its somehow working out.

you are right, mr. anonymous :)
that protective piece was put there "as a gift" by the guy at the phone shop.
i've asked about it last wednesday when i went to pick up a new nokia bluetooth headset (the one that came with the phone wasn't working properly).

front camera:
N73- video call (very good);... moreThe thing that I don't like about the camera of the 6500s is that it doesn't have a cover like the N73. But it's not all bad: the battery cover protects the actual lens with a plastic piece. So, if it gets scratched, you can get a new battery cover and all is fine again.
***There is no plastic cover attached to the back cover of the 6500 slide.

chammy, 01 Sep 2008but i am afraid if it breaks....No it won't. Bend it little by little until you get the desired fit. It's stainless steel it won't break.

i had this phone for 6 months. it has been doing quite good though i heard alot of complains about it. yes, it lags very often but things are very fine now after i took out the memory card. i dont need so much memory since i have a digital camera to take photos and videos.
easy to use.
camera is very clear.
stylish.
cool for a phone.

my 6500 keeps resetting itself, i have a 2gig card and still it kps givin me jip,,if i charge it up over nite its flat agen by the time i get hme from wk??? do i nd a new battery??? apart from this,, its a fantastic handset and i would reccomend it 2 any1,,
