its interface sucks! Why doesn't nokia come up with a new Interface like samsung? They've been copy-pasting their GUI in new models. It really SUCKS!! Not to mention its the same old boring nokia with nothing to expect and see but a better camera. There is no addition that can really make it more interesting. At first months you'll feel really glad and enjoy it but when you get to see how samsung implements their interface and how interactive it is you'll then feel how boring your nokia phone has become. Nokia has been a very functional phone and they've pretty much stayed safe. they should start giving something new aside from new designs. Software-wise they suck!

You can't use the front camera to take pictures; you can only use it to make video calls. It will only work also if the person you're calling to uses a phone that supports video call.

Software hangs. And I thought that this phone supports 4 gig of microsd transflash memory card. I've inserted a 2gig card, it hangs.

I've recently purchased Nokia 6500-s black. I have not dropped it, nor bumped it, nor scratched it. Just last night, I saw a thin horizontal line at the left side of the screen. This unit may have a good body built, but what's inside is not good at all. I'm going back to where I purchased it and swap it with an N80 instead. I should have listened to my friends when they said not to buy it. N0 may be phased out, but I have friends telling me it's better than 6500 slide.

I have just bought this fone, had an N81 previously. I really like it. The keypad is much better. When sending a text you can go into the recently used contacts instead of going into your phonebook. Also, when you receive a text message, the name of the person comes up on the display, unlike the symbian phones. It displays the time on all screens, which is really handy. The display is brilliant. You've got smileys that you can use in your notes. Battery life is a bit of a no-no. Yep, definately like it.

i just bought this phone..its simple and decent...but the voice clarity is not up to the mark at all..font and graphics are a little turn off...

i was searching for a mobile to buy on the net, the moment i saw this one, i immediately fell in love with it. i love the design, its superb. i hope to buy it soon

Only just received the phone after giving it very careful thought. Have used Nokia for 12 years, though not always been 100% happy with them, but for simplicity stake went for the easy option.
So far can can only say it's average, nothing wrong with it nothing great about it. Some of the graphics, games appear to be a throwback to several phones ago. Had the Golf game three phones ago! Font styles etc look outdated and general operation a little 'clunky'. Fingers crossed I don't experience any of the other problems mentioned.

I am using that phone more than 2 mounths now.
I exchange it 5 times now and the phone is always going on & off

Got this phone off 3 and the first handset was a nightmare, more crashes than a banger race, they sent me a new one and have had no problems so far and it has dealt with a 2G micro card no problems

I updated it's software 4.84 but stil it has been restarted, freaze automatically and disconnect call but not often.
