Nokia 6500 slide

i've using his phone for the cople of weeks, version 4.84,sometimes suddently the screen getting blank for 1 to 3 seconds.. i donno why,then suddently it set default..n onething for sure it's difficult to get through..
what going on peeps?..
but I've no others opinion on this phone because this is my firstime using the symbian40 n before this symbian60..realyyyy easy to use n can use the 3rd party software.

MY PHONE IS DEAD MAN!! OH GOD..since yesterday, i cannot switch on my phone! i don't know what the problems is..todey i'm gonna change this phone..But i luv this phone so much..what to do..

i bought the cell couples of week and have faceing some problums like phone hanging when i switch off i can reset date ,time, every time when i switch on,,i dont understand how to use front camera,,in the giude book front camera is mentioned.and these kind of more problums,,i have N73 before and its tooooooooooo gooooooood..

I get this phone as a birthday gift from dad from 3 months,i don't face any problems except ;
1- this phone is blocked (can't play 3rd party applications)
2- the plastic part of the phone is in V.bad quality (now it sucks)
in fact from my long experiance with mobile phones , the best WAS Alcatel (when it was french coz now its sold to korean company)
but now i bought Samsung , V.good designs but still VVVV.poor software.

I got this phone when it first came out but I haven't really had many major issues. Freezing happens but not often. I don't get the default everyone else does and i never updated firmware. Slides great but it does seem quite boring. I had k800 before n i liked it more, only reason i switched phones is cuz i needed the quad band... horrible reception in my area.

this phone is c**p. a big waste of alot of money. :( i have been using this phone for about 2 months now it has nothing but problems.
the keypad does get scratched due to the slide feature.
the software is all messed up.
the themes and wallpapers keep on changing back and forth all by itself.
u cant shut off the camera shutter tone.
the ringtones keep changing itself.
i think it might be the firmware but got the latest and that doesnt help either.
i previously had a nokia 6233 and that phone rocked in every aspect.
6500 slide is nothing but a useless piece of metal on which u can receive calls and send sms's. >:(

I'm running version 3.80 on my slide and it keeps resetting to default as does everyone elses. I just wanna know whether it is possible to move the ringtones from my memory card to the phone memory. I have gone thru every concievable way i can think of. Is there any1 who has managed this, if so can you please share.

I'm really not a fan of sliding phones but this one is quite steady and firm,I really have to give it to Nokia this time

worst phone ever, nothing but problems and have already replaced it twice to have the same problems!! keep away dont waste your money belongs in the bin!

Phonesource-usa has it for $332.00. I got mine from there & it doesn't suffer from the ringtone, SMS, or theme resetting to default all the time.

The phone seems to be great. I am using it for 1 month now. But the sad part is that the phone hangs up all of a sudden. I had to visit the service centre twice in this one month. But I still recommend this phone.

Hi,
Just bought this mobile yesterday. It's really fantastic. It succeeds very well the 6280 I had before. it's ust better everywhere. This S40 is really the best and I havn't found a bad point yet, still searching.
