i still cannot find that option that you can turn off the sound of when you take pictures using the camera, still cannot find that option in the camera menu, pls help, is there really a way???

This is the worst device i've ever had the misfortune of owning. The first 6500 slide I bought was replaced after 11 when the speaker failed and now, less than a month later the brand new replacement has frozen so i cant unlock it. This is definately the last Nokia product I will ever buy

how to save messages to micro SD, click menu, open messaging ,click options,select settings,click other,under memory in use select phone memory or micro SD.

id definately go for the nokia 6500! the keys are so much more comfortable. the user faces on both phones are good but if ur a texter, ul definately prefer the nokia. the sony keys are tiny.

NOKIA looses its reputation of producing good call quality phones!
This 6500:
-Cons: Drops Calls!!!
Nokia 6110 Navigator:
-Cons: Muffled echoing outgoing sound!!!!
-Horrible noice cancelation!!!
Nokia E65 Simbian crap:
-Looses connection to network very often!!!

hiyah! does anybody knows how to turn off the camera shooting tone... whatever it is called. it's a bit annoying because it's too lud. everytime i take pictures of someone/something, i get the attention of other people because of the camera tone. pls pls pls pls... help! thanks!

i think u should get the 6500 slide it has a much better camera than the classic coz my sisters got the classic the picture quality is not as gud as the slide, and texting from the classic is abit difficult.

HAD ENOUGH. Been a nokia fan for 9 yrs now.
I have had this phone 4 months & can't wait to get rid & buy a different make, prob sony ericcson.
It keeps resetting to default settings, at 1st this happened twice a week, now its twice aday, its started freezing on a regular basis, even if you transfer ur bits to phone memory instead of memory card it still keeps resetting so that is confusing as so many of you keep saying its not reconising the memory card!!
My daughter has the nokia 5600 & it does the same exact things now. I really do believe that nokia are knocking there phones out so quick these days that there having alot of software problems now. Just beware that 1 problem at the start of using your new phone just gets worse as the months go on. NOKIA shame on you for letting your good name go to the pits!!!!
