the 1200X1600 size of the picture is only comes up as 800X600 on my computer i think its an eror that nokia has made + yes i have tried it wif 4 different computers

I bought 6500 slide on ebay couple of weeks ago. I'm not complaining about multiple bugs in the software. Today my phone simply died. First it stopped charging, then it went off and now it's not turning on at all with adapter plugged in.
Is that's all?

have you seen a Nokia 6500s with stylus or it is touch-screen. I have one. I don't know if it's original or what.

no such thing as 6500 touch there is lots of fake nokias around including N95 N73 ETC ALL FROM CHINA

Sometime it hang when pressing the right selection key and must wait for 15 seconds or more time before pressing the key again??? Another problem is receiving the call also hang sometime,pressing the answer key but no answer from the caller???

I have the n73 for 5 months and the 6500 for 3 days , IMHO , i'd suggest you go get the 6500 slide :) unless you want to opt in for a cheaper , slow interface , good camera , decent music , then the n73.

well , it all depends what you want in a phone , if youre looking for a fast user interface , leave out the n series , if you're looking for a decent camera and fast interface.. the ericsoon shud do it .. if you're looking for a music device , slow interace and good camera - N73 Music Edition (I have it & it takes nice pictures but it's too laggy even with RAM freed up) , I just purchased the 6500 Slide , very nice so far , s40 good interface , no lags , decent camera , although it's a 3.2 carl zeiss it does'nt match up to n73's 3.2 camera quality (it's a bit more grainy) so if you want good body build , elegant look , decent mp3 player , a decent camera and s40 fast interface , I'd recommended the 6500 Slide over everything , for it's price range it's a pretty good option.

why when my nokia 6500 slide is near his case magnetic can
't receive call : it disconnect when i move it?

OK guys... i juz dropped my 6500s. But it was juz half a feet above my wooden parquet floor.
Immediately my rigntone changed 2 the default nokia tone.
I've tried a dozen times 2 open & close the battery cover making sure it's securely fixed, i even took out the battery & memory card, still, whenever i changed my rigntone 2 the memory card 1 it'd change back again 2 default nokia tone.
The only solution is MOVE the rigntone 2 phone memory. Now my ringtone problem is solved. But no matter how i fix, the battery cover cannot fit securely & leaving a slight gap.
Really disappointed with Nokia for making such lousy filmsy phone.

i dont get it, why is that people are saying that this phone is superfast, but my SE k800 is significantly more fsater than my nokia 6500 slide.
pls tell me in what aspect this phone is superfast, no bias comments pls.
